The irony is, that Moddy says that he respects us fans and that he wants to leave Spurs as friends, but then goes on to say that (a) he won't win anything with us, and (b) the Chavs are a bigger club than us!
Thanks for offering the hand of friendship, Moddy, but no thanks!

Of course he said it. Otherwise Levy wouldnt have come out with a statement early this morning while everyone was still brushing their teeth..

If you're a Man City or Chelsea supporter, then I can understand why you would think that way. However, there are still some players left who actually have more than half a brain - and, have some principles. I believe Modric is one of those.
He will stay for at least another season. It will be up to the club to show that we can match his ambitions. If not, then we will have to accept the inevitable.
It is, of course, possible that I have misjudged his character; but I don't think so.

Nope. Now Modric has said he doesn't want to be there we will just wait until transfer deadline day and then you won't have time to spend it.

We really do need Levy to prove he has the balls to stand by his words, and also to put a formal complaint to the FA.
Losing Modric would have a very disruptive effect on our squad.
The question is, though, what has gone so wrong that Moddy wants to leave?

Disrespectful comments by WUMs who have nothing constructive to to write and who come on here merely to scoff will be deleted.
I urge my fellow Spurs fans to delete such comments from their own threads.

if we had actually had any kind of decent return in those games we would be back in CL and this wouldnt have happened

The suggestion of a healthy increase in his pay packet might have something to do with it. After all Chelsea hardly pulled up any trees last season

About what? Making a formal ofer

We made it clear that we were not interested in selling Modric, and not only did the Chavs still put in an offer, but they put in a pathetically low one. It was tapping-up through the backdoor.
