...was thinking of buying it off my mate for 20 quid. But i've heard you don't get some online features if it's second hand? Are these worth the extra 15 or so quid?

personally i don't buy anything without decent online modes. I don't want to stump up £30+ for a game that will only last me a day or so max (gameplay time) - most being much shorter. I like to compete against my mates etc as well, so story based one player games just don't fit the bill.
