The game's fantastic, probably my game of the year so far.
I've found it anything but short, if you completely ignore the free-roaming aspect of the game and the countless side missions then yes, it might be a bit short, but that would be completely ignoring over half of the content.
personally i don't buy anything without decent online modes. I don't want to stump up £30+ for a game that will only last me a day or so max (gameplay time) - most being much shorter. I like to compete against my mates etc as well, so story based one player games just don't fit the bill.
i would bite their hands off, its a faboulous game
