If?

There has been discussion on another thred but to keep things more direct, i've started a new one.

If all the boo boys and LJ-haters were wrong, why hasn't LJ got a game every week?

He is free for anyone who wants him, but even lowly Chesterfield, have sent him back!

If the lovers were correct with their argumnets, then surely someone would want him!

I am looking forward to next season, when the Club will be free from Johnsons and i will buy a season ticket again.

I gave it 5 stars just to flush out a few happy clappers.
So they gave you 1 and 2 stars.
Wonder who they are ?

R/p for a man of age, you can be so childish at times! I know GJ's treatment of your family friend Steve Philips is the real source of your anger but its a tired tune now, bordering boring!

First, I don't rate any articles, its pointless!

Secondly, as I have said many times, LJ was an integral part of a successful Bristol City team, that's a fact. He, as many said on countless occasions, as an individual would never set the world alight but football is a team game and the team works!

Thirdly, other purported better players, Noble, Carle, Hartley and Trundle also reside at lowly clubs, which, in your own definition, would make them of equal standing.

Finally, this club sits near the bottom of the league "the Johnsons" helped get us too and stay in the top 10 for two seasons so if going backwards to you and Keef is being proved "right" lets hope my man, McInnes, keeps proving you wrong!

Its all in the past now, fair play to LJ he kept his dignity and gave us 5 good years whilst being treated appallingly, I hope we have more professional people like him at the club in the future.

R/S - A comment from another site referring to NK's injury -
'To be fair when NK played for Millen he wasn't that much better than a certain "smaller" midfielder. However McInnes has found a role that suits NK and now excels.Who knows, McInnes might work an even greater miracle - Junior hasn't the legs to get up and back like NK - he also can't tackle, pass forward, head, presss etc etc but the one/only thing LJ has in his favour is his 'football brain' and DM might surprise us all'
Should DM pick Junior I'll revert to just awarding stars.

Junior doesn't bring anything to the table and I can't believe any supporter, is happy he is robbing the Club, of 6k every week.

There is more chance of Hunt recovering from his injury and playing CM than Junior playing there!

Its a good point R/p, as me and my friends have been discussing as to whether McInnes will look at LJ and think "NK back up" and there may be a use for him at AG, who knows!! However, i dont think it will happen and, if you believe the rumours, he is looking to bring younger players in which is great for us as we need a fresh injection of ideas on the pitch.

As opposed to the likes of Hunt, Stewart and James who combined take nearly 50k a week from the club. I know who has done more for their money!

Nearly 50k!

Glad you're not my accountant!

If the rumoured £15k a week is true then yes, its £45k which is nearly 50k in anyones language! In any event, it no doubt exceeds 30k a week which is, obviously, far greater than the sums you state

Stewart isn't on £15 k! More like £5k.

And SL has already stated, he pays the wages for James, from his own pocket.
