Keef - Great Article
I gave it 5 stars just to flush out a few happy clappers.
So they gave you 1 and 2 stars.
Wonder who they are ?
4/6 - Redside
2-1 BJA
6-1 Hawk
10-1 R&W
20-1 The rest.
Keef - Which one's your money on ?
Don't really care!
Just rejoicing it's only about 6 months before we get rid of the Johnsons for ever!
The club evolves and moves on,I hated it when Pulis was our manager and I would never compare Gary Johnson with him but look at where Stoke are.
GJ got us promoted and I thank him for that but he has had his time, the LJ issue I never rated him as a top player but have never heard him down our club,it's players, management, fans, staff or owners, still he's not good enough at this level so,move him on certainly but as far as I'm concerned we offered him a contract and he's honoured it,I don't blame him.
Del and Doc are now in charge and that is what we should be happy about....Up the City....
I virtually agree with wize in everything he says although I think that LJ could still do a sinilar sort of job that Killkenny currently does for us if played in the same way in the same sort of team setup but I don't think he would get enough playing time to justify his wages.
He did well for us in the first couple of seasons but looking at the players in the team and the results, again this is based mainly on stats, as soon as we signed Adebolah LJ's best days were gone as we stopped playing fast passing football through the midfield so basically LJ didn't really have a role to play.
In his defence he has always kept himself fit to play whenever asked and never complained so I wish him well whereever he now goes.
ps I haven't rated this article as I hardly ever bother.

R/p for a man of age, you can be so childish at times! I know GJ's treatment of your family friend Steve Philips is the real source of your anger but its a tired tune now, bordering boring!
First, I don't rate any articles, its pointless!
Secondly, as I have said many times, LJ was an integral part of a successful Bristol City team, that's a fact. He, as many said on countless occasions, as an individual would never set the world alight but football is a team game and the team works!
Thirdly, other purported better players, Noble, Carle, Hartley and Trundle also reside at lowly clubs, which, in your own definition, would make them of equal standing.
Finally, this club sits near the bottom of the league "the Johnsons" helped get us too and stay in the top 10 for two seasons so if going backwards to you and Keef is being proved "right" lets hope my man, McInnes, keeps proving you wrong!
Its all in the past now, fair play to LJ he kept his dignity and gave us 5 good years whilst being treated appallingly, I hope we have more professional people like him at the club in the future.
Iam looking forward to next season, when the Club will be free from Johnsons and i will buy a season ticket again.

R/S - A comment from another site referring to NK's injury -
'To be fair when NK played for Millen he wasn't that much better than a certain "smaller" midfielder. However McInnes has found a role that suits NK and now excels.Who knows, McInnes might work an even greater miracle - Junior hasn't the legs to get up and back like NK - he also can't tackle, pass forward, head, presss etc etc but the one/only thing LJ has in his favour is his 'football brain' and DM might surprise us all'
Should DM pick Junior I'll revert to just awarding stars.
Junior doesn't bring anything to the table and I can't believe any supporter, is happy he is robbing the Club, of 6k every week.
There is more chance of Hunt recovering from his injury and playing CM than Junior playing there!

Its a good point R/p, as me and my friends have been discussing as to whether McInnes will look at LJ and think "NK back up" and there may be a use for him at AG, who knows!! However, i dont think it will happen and, if you believe the rumours, he is looking to bring younger players in which is great for us as we need a fresh injection of ideas on the pitch.

As opposed to the likes of Hunt, Stewart and James who combined take nearly 50k a week from the club. I know who has done more for their money!
Nearly 50k!
Glad you're not my accountant!
If the rumoured £15k a week is true then yes, its £45k which is nearly 50k in anyones language! In any event, it no doubt exceeds 30k a week which is, obviously, far greater than the sums you state
Stewart isn't on £15 k! More like £5k.
And SL has already stated, he pays the wages for James, from his own pocket.

And SL has already stated, he pays the wages for James, from his own pocket <if true, then it's still £15k less a week he could be spending elsewhere, there is no difference>
