Wait a minute !

I hate to be the one to interrupt the 'Teary Henry' love-in, but come on guys. He's already had his time in the sun. I raised hell when we brought Sol back and had to grit my teeth because of the freakish injury situation that brought back Mad Jens.
I know it's still 'newspaper talk' but it's madness saying that bringing back Henry could actually be an option. It's becoming a habit.
What message does this send to a kid in the reserves? Personally, I'm happier when kids like Miquel, Coquelin,Yennaris (or even Wilshere or Fabregas some years back) get thrown in with the sharks. I've been involved with youth football and can vouch for the 'high' that the boys get when one of their own gets into the mix with the seniors.
Or is our youth system just some fancy form of corporate social responsibility?
BTW, merry christmas and all that.

None of our youngsters are near the standard that Henry is

Also, youngsters will get good experience and advice from having our top goalscorer ever around. I see no way in how this is a bad thing. All our strikers in the youth haven't been good of late, and putting them in the team and seeing them flop is more likely to hurt them, rather than an experienced legend coming in, and showing them how to do it both in training and on the pitch

Imo it'll give the youngsters someone to look up to, we're talking about a man who has a statue outside our stadium it would surely bring a real buzz around the place. Win-win situation as far as i'm concerned

Bringing him back will certainly re-invigorate the younger players in the art of simulation. He will demonstrate to them how to take in onto the next level. Which, of course, is just what the EPL (re)needs.

Can't stand cheats. Never have done, never will do.

so getting a Legend in for 2-3 months is not gonna help the Kids but buying a £20 Mil player for 4 years is gonna make them feel wanted ????

Is "me" trying to accuse Henry of being a diver??

Poor little "me" seems a bit obsessed with Arsenal.
