Well, nearly 24 hours on from a cracking point at Liverpool and the lack of celebration from Rovers fans across numerous messageboards speaks volumes. Not even 1 solitary article about the match on here and to be honest I couldn't bring myself to create one and go through the motions of praising the performance. Put simply I think we're already down and it seems many agree with me. There's always a small chance of course and I'll keep going to the pub for the away games and Ewood for the home games. But its a bit like being 3-0 down in a match. You stand there watching and going through the motions of being interested, and getting a goal back may raise spirits slightly, but barring a minor miracle there's still only gonna be 1 outcome.
Using this example I'd describe the draw yesterday as scoring half a goal, it was nice but its impact is minimal. We're still 4 points from safety and we've still got Man Utd away next. The other perversly worrying thing is that our next 4 home games are easily winnable, and we've already seen the total mess Kean makes of games like that. We've only ever won 3 league games at home under him against weak opposition, he truly is a manager who seems to pick up the few points he does get totally at random. So an easy run of games seems to do nothing for us. Maybe these reported 4 January signings will make a difference, maybe Kean's talking rubbish and they'll never happen, maybe they'll be more £2-3m garbage along the lines of the players he's already signed.
Can anyone really see light at the end of the tunnel or are games like yesterday now just an example of playing for pride?
A Hollow "Victory"?

Good article. Just reading between the lines though, it smacks of desperation. We're all that way right now. We're utterly lost and confused. We just want our Rovers back, the way it should be - a respectable acknowledged Premier League outfit.

Skinrover wrote,,"I don't think it matters if we Win Lose or Draw Kean is here for the season"......well strangely i take that as meaning you think that Kean will get the sack at the end of the season should we get relegated,,i then explained to you that he will never, ever get the sack whilst Venkies own the club,,not difficult ,but you did send some confusing messages out,,,

It would be a very brave business move to keep an underperforming company employee in a position where his inabilities and failings could directly contribute to a loss in excess of 30 million company turnover.
It would be a very brave business move to continue to ignore the feelings and requirements of the company's customers.
It remains a very brave business move to recruit a no mark on cheap money and within 12 months completely downgrade the product offering to your customers.
It remains a very brave move to enter a new market place without a business plan or strategy and to wing it day by day operating from a different continent.
Bravery in business is required and I applaud the Venky's.
However, there is a fine line between business bravery and business foolishness and on the evidence to date some may argue the Venky's are totally and utterly bonkers.
You decide, as only time will tell.

On topic, I think the board is a little quieter due to Xmas, but even in myself I sense a growing apathy about the club and its fortunes.
I won't now go away under Kean, so am not as caught up in the week in week out stuff and the home fare has been shocking with little to enjoy. Our turmoils in all areas continue and it has become tiresome following the Rovers.
I almost feel like I am in limbo, waiting for the removal of Kean and the Venky's, but it isn't going to happen anytime soon so I need to work out exactly where I am up to at this moment with my Rovers support as it has all become very predictable and tedious.

Here, here OOJW,,i have no idea at all were i stand now regarding BRFC,,i have said many times that the club is not my club anymore,,it is as though it has been taken over by a group of aliens,it seems to have no future plan other than the stupid talk that comes from the manager the owner and now the press,i go to games awaiting the goal that the away team will undoubtedly score followed by the crescendo of Kean Out that follows that goal,,i do not agree with that by the way,no point what so ever to do that,,but the fans have to find someone dont they? Andrews as gone,,Pederson takes a bit of stick and even that cheat Dunn is now coming in for a little stick,,but Kean as took place of Andrews and i still feel that he has been the unluckiest manager we have ever had,,but we do have the cr ap iest fans in the league for me,,and that leaves me thinking were am i with this football club,,do i really want to be involved anymore with such a disgracefull situation, and OOJW this thinking i have did start with the constant berateing of K Andrews.,,
Taking your company senario into context, what you maybe have missed his player and assett value of said company, with there initail investment they could still walk away with a vast profit even if they decide to liquidate in the not to far off future,,it could prove to be a good quick buck business venture,

Rover blue, I don't believe we have the worst fans in the Country, far from it. Consider the United fans treatment of the Glazers despite continued success, how about Liverpool with Hicks and Gillette, not attending games and getting a proven manager the sack.
Our story is far worse. Failiure for those teams is missing a Champions League or two, our failiure could result in OUR Club ceasing to exist.
What is also worth noting is that MUFC and LFC are brands and the majority of their fans are merely short buying sports channel subscribers!
Let's face it, Blackburn is hardly an attractive metropolitan city. Football is a massive part of the community and the workers of the town's weekend refuge.
It's about passion! Sometimes it may appear to spill over too far, but where is the line? I cannot say that a few boo's and jeers are too much when you see people ripping the heart out of a community for a quick buck!

OK Pie,i do take on board all you have pointed out there,,we do however have an element who never seem to be happy and have to have some target of abuse,,i have seen this on many occasions,,sometime now Goodwillie will be verbailly attacked by the very same section,,the Darwen End group did used to hold it all together for me,but now they have just joined the hate Kean section,,now it may sound odd this but i could indeed make a good case for S Kean on games that luck or bad player error played a part in us losing games,ya,,and i mean many games not just the odd one or two,but many,,WBA and Bolton games were by far his worst performances, but prior to that things could have been so so different,,it may seem strange someone saying these things but fairs fair for me..and that doesnt mean i think he is a good manager i do not,,a good manager would have won those games, espec the ones we took the lead in.
