I am sick of hearing people say Torres needs time, he is our future, he will come good, he is our main striker. Stop defending him.
He has had his time while Drogba has been warming the bench. We got no where with that. As soon as we give Drogba some games we see glimpses of his old and fearsome self. I dont know the exact stats but in the EPL Torres has a terrible goal to game ratio againsnt his name.
He isnt our future because he cant hit a cows backside with a banjo. We are Chelsea. Not some championship side. We need world class strikers and Torres will never be world class again. Lets just sign Cavani, sell Torres and give Didier a 1 year extension because he deserves it for all he has done for us.
Torres is clearly not up for playing for us. I am sick of watching him play. People say he is trying but that isnt good enough, we need goals not goal attempts. I say sell him for £20 million in January or the summer and forget about him.
He will have his chance in January but i just cant see him taking it.
Drogba=Legend
Torres=Flop
So AVB please play Drogba from now on.
Rant over!
Fernando (waste of space) Torres

There should be a striker somewhere in one of the European leagues we could pick up for less than 20m who can do a job

His name is Ricky van wolfswinkel
But yup Luiz and Torres were the best of a bad bunch

Sorry to sound like a broken record but I maintain Ba would cost less than £20million Lucas Barrios has said he might move in January who was a major part of Drtmund's success last year and has been their top scorer past 2 seasons. Same age as Torres. He also worth a move? There's also Matri at Juventus who has been doing well on the whole. They seem interested in Drogba/Alex- swap deal? Moussa Sow has always been banging in goals at Lille. Or maybe someone a bit different - Lisandro Lopez from Lyon? Similar player to Tevez and Suarez. Maybe not as good but is still a good footballer

(should be added to the barrios bit) but recently he has fallen out of favour at Dortmund so wouldn't cost so much. Similar to Higuain I think in style but I don't know to much about him..

And Wilfried Bony at Vitesse has been doing well recently, and maybe one of the duo strike-force at CSKA - Doumbia or vagner Love

Torres is a fantastic striker. Chelsea need to find midfielders to set him up. Yossi looked the real deal in pre season, I do not understand why AVB did not use him to set up Torres, the partnership, already paying dividends at anfield, looked like it would continue with chelsea. For some reason, AVB did not see this at all.
He must have his reasons. But watching YB set up Van Persie and the Arsenal strikers over and over again and fitting so well in the Gunners scoring machine has me frustrated and confused.
The topic is Torres, He is a fantastic player. But if he is not getting any service why do we blame him?
If we are stupid enough to sell Torres off to another team who knows how to use and feed balls to him, he will be scoring for fun again, and we will have eggs on face once again....

Torres has had service, he has had goal scoring opportunities, but he has done little with them.
STOP MAKING FECKING EXCUSES!

We have scored 36 goals in 18 games so our midfield is creating chances a plenty.

Benayoun has only played a couple of games for Arsenal and he´s set up 2 maybe 3 goals.
In my opinion you are jumping the gun to say that Yossi is consistently doing well at Arsenal.

I believe you are right. i don't watch a lot of Arsenal, but when I have Yossi has been playing and looks sharp and hungry. Theres nothing like being wanted and part of the team to spark motivation. At Chelsea foe whatever reason, he never took off, despite several fine cameos ,pre and early season.

Yossi was bought as a squad player. He has done ok, though I understand he was not much cop today. Also he has been bought for his experience to help off the field.
