First off I'm not trying to take anything away for our outfield guys who are simply sublime in all areas , Bale . Modds . RVDV , Etc , Etc , Etc are right up there in the top echelons .....
BUT
Big Bad Brad is one of if not the most important players for us with him behind the sticks the back 4 are bathed in an aura of serenity and know some dirty great big geezer has got their backs....
Today he became our second ever oldest player and it's not too far away for him to get to number one
Brad can you play for another 5 , 10 ,20 years ??????
Big Bad Brad king of the nets and our most important player , well our most important player who never seems to get a mention

I was as cynical as anybody in the summer when we signed him.....but what a keeper. I no longer panic with a corner, a cross or a long shot.
A massive improvement on the error-prone Gomes.
That being said we need a replacement ready for next season as at his age his reflexes can deteriorate very quickly. Cudicini,Gomes,Alnwick,Button or Jansson are not and will not be the answer.

We should buy the Swans bloke mate
Brad could polish him up ready for the following season

Hope your well squid? Completely agree with you. Vorm looks every bit a quality keeper and he has a quirky name....what more could we want!?
That being said lets enjoy big brad whilst we can.

As I said a million times on the old 606, Gomes was a great shot stopper not a great keeper. Brad is a good keeper, safe and steady without being spectacular.
To be fair to Gomes as well, Brad does have a far better side in front of him than Gomes ever had but I still believe it was a good signing and has settled our defence down a fair bit.

Brad did well at Fulham, although, for the Fulham goal the corner is only three yards from the goal line so really he should have come and claimed it. Stoke away was a test and he was poor at fault for the first goal. Last night twice he came out for a cross and missed it. Chelsea goal again is only a yard away from him. Also, a few games this season Brad has only touched the ball four times.
