ANDY CARROLL

Apparently Carrolls goal drought is down to everyone other than Carroll himself according to the liverpool fans.
The excuses put forward are -
1)Carroll is still young.(He is 23 now)

2)He is new to the club. (it's been a year now)

3)The team needs to change the style of play. (Why should 10 players adapt themselves for a single player?)

4)It's Downings fault. (Plenty of crosses have come to him but he still has failed to hit the back of the net)

4)He needs time to improve his first touch. (It can't be developed at 23)

5) He should stay in the box more. (doesn't help that his first touch, dribbling and holdup play is poor. )

6)Kenny should change his tactics to accommodate him. (Why should he? He has got results against every big team without him ).

Wingers should put in more crosses. (Does he expect every cross to land on his head?)

These are some of the many excuses that Liverpool fans have put forward to defend Carroll whereas the entire world knows he is just poor and Kenny completed the most ridiculous transfer. So why do they come up with ridiculous statements defending Carroll?

His positioning is indeed awful.

Not only his positioning is awful but his entire game is terrible apart from his heading. Heading wise also he isn't a world beater.
Even in the championship his record isn't great either.

7) He reads JA606 and the " Carroll 35m " comments have got to him.

Long John Silver would be more use than Torres at the moment!

Needs to start working hard for the team, if he gave 100% effort there'd be less people on his back

Even if he gives his 100% and works hard I doubt he has the talent to be a player to worthy of 35m.
