Alright folks, I am done with all the excuses; WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
We rely on a few 35+ guys to get us the runs and a 35 year old to get us the wickets. I am sure the guys are trying their hardest, but things have gone from bad to worse. I purpose that since we are losing anyways, we lose with young players.
Time for old timers to hang their boots at the end of the series. Thanks for the world cup and some very good memories along the way.

India seem to lose their hearts easily when things arent going right, they need to get stuck in..stick to a plan and dig out median overs instead of dishing out appalling lollypop bowling, was there ever a hostile over bowled today?

I think this current England team will go down as one of the great teams in history, right up there with Australia c. '95-2007, and the great windies team of the 80s.
I see the main challenger being Australia. South Africa are good at the moment, but i don't rate their infrastructure very highly, as far as bringing young players through is concerened. Also, South Africa have 2 great players nearing the end of their careers and i cannot see any replacements who will be able to fill their massive shoes. i also invisage the west indies rising up a little bit. they have found a couple of good young bastmen, and i think will become more competitive in the years to come, without really challenging the best.

i can understand why you say that now neon, and i imagine that is what we would have been saying when australia were first starting out, but if, as i think they will, england dominate for the next 10 years, you might think differently.
