Sick to death of most of the plastic United fans on this board, "Worst performance in 30 years" "Jones is bad" Blah blah blah, Newcastle were unreal tonight, they played out of their skins and hustled us on every ocation. Ba was a constant threat and they did well to utilize him with their long balls etc.
Its all well and good saying how poor we played but can nobody look at it in the sense that Newcastle defended very well, two long punts set up two of their goals and a 1 in a million freekick.
People need to grow up, trust Fergie and realise that this league isnt the SPL or La liga, every game isnt 3 points.
Hats off to Newcastle and Pardew, they surprised me how solid and disciplined they were.

seen it all before. I remember getting beaten 5-0 at Newcastle and everyone wrote us off as finished. Who won the league that season ?

Totally right OP on almost every point, particularly about the plastics who cry every time we lose a game.
Newcastle were superb tonight and thoroughly deserved the win by outplaying us, not because we were massively below par, but because they were the better team and that should worry SAF more considering that side was about as strong as he had at his disposal, but who's fault is that? Would less injuries have made a massive difference tonight?
The one point I do disagree with you on is that it's been clear for a long time that the central midfield is in desperate need of strengthening and SAF neglected this in the summer and before. His stubbornness on this point is worrying.

Regardless of tonight's result, you were never anywhere near good enough to win the title this season. Man City way better than the rest. Back into the fight for top 4 with those performances. Pretty much season over after Sunday tbh, unless you take the Europa seriously.
