Quite right, Newcastle were quality tonight. The performances against City and Blackburn at Old Trafford were surely worse than that one? In the second half once Berbatov was off I thought we had the better of it.
How very generous of you, you were mullered by a better team and everone saw it!
Be a sport and tell the truth.
You were battered and bettered the whole game.
I follow Chelsea, but well said and stand by your club when it gets tough.
Too many plastics these days and tinternet experts.
Yes Newcastle played well but we were very poor.
Its not a case of being plastic or needing to grow up, many simply have a view and are entitled to show it and you never know they could actually be right as fergie has made more mistakes than usual of late.
what i fail to understand is carrick vs tiote? i mean come on!?
no effin about but fergie has to buy - he's just to stubborn to admit our CM is cack
but well played to newcastle, Ba on a free is as good as hernandez last season, and cabaye/tiote is something most utd fans would take in an instant
Deserved win for them tonight.
Wtf is Steven Taylor wearing
well said we was poor tonight but Newcastle were excellent.
Newcastle were indeed very good, but to use this to veil over the fact we were appalling, and not for the first time, is just blinkered.

isn't that the exact point of the article?
Well done the Geordies.... they were fantastic tonight... the armchair army tend to look away when the opposition have the ball.

Carrick gave a good go at it i thought, Not sure if you watched the game Onion but we wernt battered at any stage of the game, just outdefended and then punished at the back.
Newcastle were excellent. Ba was superb but i honestly thought Coloccini was MOM he never put a foot wrong he was fantastic. Newcastle have a very good spine to their side they should qualify for Europe this season they are a very good side.
dont forget the penalty that was cast iron, but still turned down by your 12th man
'...but to use this to veil over the fact we were appalling, and not for the first time, is just blinkered'
Ji Sung Park's Cousin - I see at least one of your fans can come out and say it! It's called being honest. My point is the OP suggesting they were fortunate or lucky to win. You were battered! End of!
Yes we were second best all over the pitch, but surely Newcastle fans must be questioning where that hunger was last friday at Anfield. Newcastle were as abysmal that night as we were tonight !
Cabaye is class, Tiote gets stuck in and Ba obviously a handful.
Park,Rooney,Nani,Berba woeful!!!
I can't believe some of the idiots on here blaming Carrick for the defeat tonight.
18 yes I did, I thought you were out gunned up front, out run in midfield and awful in defence. Fergie has got problems and as your fellow fan We_Are_All_Utd you are papering over the cracks!
To be honest, the manager showed about as much passion (excluding Jones) as the rest of the team. Glued to his seat chewing like a camel all game...
seen it all before. I remember getting beaten 5-0 at Newcastle and everyone wrote us off as finished. Who won the league that season ?
I agree thejsmith1, Onion i cba even arguing with you when your being a complete idiot and missing the whole point of the article.
Totally right OP on almost every point, particularly about the plastics who cry every time we lose a game.
Newcastle were superb tonight and thoroughly deserved the win by outplaying us, not because we were massively below par, but because they were the better team and that should worry SAF more considering that side was about as strong as he had at his disposal, but who's fault is that? Would less injuries have made a massive difference tonight?
The one point I do disagree with you on is that it's been clear for a long time that the central midfield is in desperate need of strengthening and SAF neglected this in the summer and before. His stubbornness on this point is worrying.
Regardless of tonight's result, you were never anywhere near good enough to win the title this season. Man City way better than the rest. Back into the fight for top 4 with those performances. Pretty much season over after Sunday tbh, unless you take the Europa seriously.
Siempre Rojo aka tenemos diecinueve
I accept your point, you did back then, but be honest, do you think it will happen this year?
