I ask this question as it seems SoD is the favourite for almost all jobs from the Championship down, but soon after he sinks into oblivion and gets no further.
He was a dead cert for Bristol City, Nott'm Forest, Portsmouth, Hull, Preston ( now looking at Westley) and then today Paul Ince is installed as favourite to take over at Bristol Rovers a job which a couple of days ago was nailed on for SoD.
Is he not the man he was when in total demand or is he being very picky about any new jobs?
I did here that it was HIS decision to leave the Rovers HE could not take any more criticism. Has his confidence been shattered in the same way as the teams confidence appeared to drop?
It just seems funny to me that someone of his experience and knowledge of the game, who was in such demand 12 months ago, has not yet found a new home, Plymouth excluded.
Has O'Driscoll become unemployable?

I don't suppose he is still getting paid by Doncaster is he? If so how long for? Maybe he is just enjoying his time off!!

NY, I was concerned that maybe clubs would think that Sean could not take the pressure after the last few weeks at Donny and that would make it difficult for him - but I think his career record shows that he can handle pressure - just think he needs to be able to do things his way and maybe not too many clubs will give him the level of control he feels he needs.

Graham Westley taking Preston Job after Stevenage, I remember him owning Farnborough and also managing them in Conference Days. Eastleigh Cup Final 7 - 0 agg. He is taking his assistant with him and also his first team coach . - - - Dino Maamria (now then how about that one then/)

You can understand why he would not want to go to a struggling League 2 club. Did he not reach a settlement with DRFC on his contract? If so, it will be important now for him to get a job fairly quickly. League 1 is probably his most realistic option and getting Rovers promoted from there is in his favour, but if you look at the clubs outside the top half dozen or so none are likely to have the resources that were available here which he could use for development. Possibly Stevenage might want him and the challenge there might appeal to him. Have they got any money I wonder?
