to the bloke who tried to argue with me whilst i was buying a coffee...f-ck off again...

i allowed you to have your say about ken davey and the stadium etc..

i explained why i was buying a coffee and you then wanted to argue further and got unpleasant, thats why i told you to f-ck off..

put your point across, then shut the f-ck up and let an adult decide what he/she is going to do.. or you will get told to f-ck off a lot...

38 - Luckily most of my mates share the same view as myself regarding the "share issue",, It will resolve itself, It has to,, Why shouldnt Davy recieve the current market value for his shares and why should the Giants pay for using the stadium for a couple of league games that they actually dont ? They also want both clubs to prosper (wether they like rugby or not) as they both represent Huddersfield.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, One of the lads who comes to both games with us and is knocking on a bit (60) also said that if the squares who run the HTSA had put as much effort into getting a permanent end for lads as they have in trying to get the shares back,, We would now have a permanent end to go in without spoiling anyones view etc,,, He also said he found it a bit of a coincidence that Town/Hoyle/HTSA had stated they have no say over the SStewarding issues, Yet all of a sudden the singing section are left to get on with it ? I take it that the protest that was going to happen v Brentford regarding the sstewarding issues (not backed by HTSA or Town) are now on the backburner due to the "shares protest" "catering boycott" that is backed by the HTSA/Town,,,, I can see it now, Hoyle gets the shares back and the sstewarding problems return with Hoyle/HTSA saying "It is out of our hands, Its rules",,,,,,, The old lad i mention also had words with a blinkered fan yesterday while purchasing a coffee to mix his miniature with,,, He also told the lad to heff oh and mind his own business, Stated that he followed both clubs and would do what he wanted when he wanted and was not going to be advised what to do by a 20 something idiot who also said when walking off "he hoped the Giants go bust",, To which he was told Heff oh little pwick, If Pat had bumped into him later he said he was going to break his nose ! And sadly i believe we are going to see a few more potential flare ups between fans who have differing views on the subject.

im of the opinion that dean hoyle should be "big" enough to deal with this himself..

i may have joined the "boycott" if i hadnt been travelling most of the night and the morning to get home..then get to the game, i arrived at 4 minutes to 3..
I did try to explain this to the "kn-b" marshalling the boycott campaign at that particular concession stand.. He then told me he had been up since 5 etc etc etc..
I dont want an argument from some tw-t about wether i buy a coffee or not..sanctimonious f-ckers will not help any cause..
Make your point and shut up..
what next?, are they going to try and intimidate familes going into the family stand because they thing it might be devalueing the atmosphere in the ground??
Im normally a generally easy going bloke(i dont look like it-but i am) and i dont mind people making their views known but do it with a leaflet or letters to the examiner, do not accost(especially large, tired, angry looking blokes) fellow supporters inside the football ground.. and if you do, dont get upset and go looking for stewards(back up) if you are told to f-ck off after you have carried on gi9ving your opibion long after its been accepted and declined..

Apologies for joining the party late, here are my rambling thoughts:

- First 15 minutes we played okay, passed it around (sometimes too much) and made some decent space out wide but unfortunately failed to get a decent cross in. Rhodes had a couple of half chances and was unlucky with a header while Ward had a couple of decent shots (one which he should have passed to Rhodes who was clean through).
- Novak started the game well but sort of disappeared after the half hour mark and struggled to make any real impact.
- Danny Ward had a good game, seemed to work a lot harder and had a renewed confidence.
- Rhodes showed once again how much he's improved, he played 90 minutes without scoring and was still one of our better performers.
- McCombe and Clarke looked decent, Clarke was probably the better of the 2 but both did their jobs reasonably well.
- Hunt had the best defensive game I've seen him have in a Town shirt.
- Miller was invisible.
- Miller was ten times better than Robinson.
- We missed Gobern when he went off, nasty bump he took.
- Lee and Cads did their jobs well when they came on, the game was made for Lee and he did what he was brought on to do, caused some chaos and got stuck into MVoto who couldn't handle him.
- Did Bennett make any real meaningful save?
- We need to be better at sticking to our guns in the face of teams like Oldham who will come to waste time and interrupt the flow of the game.
- That being said, the ref was dire. Why did he stop the game in the first half for a blatant 50/50 when it was tee'd up for Miller to shoot from the edge of the area?
- When Johnson and Woods return I think we'll be much better, the former in particular needs to get back to fitness ASAP as I have zero faith in our other midfielders.
- How are Gudjonsson and Arfield being kept out of the team by Robinson and Miller?
- I'd still like to see McDermott on the bench as the Wednesday game showed the impact he can have.
- We really need to keep this run of wins and clean sheets going, United are on fire right now and have the squad to maintain their form.

johnson/gobern looks the best bet.. johnson knows what he is doing and plays a simple pass better than the rest..gobern adds height and the long legs and might get forward more..

clark has decided against mcdermott..he is wrong, simple..

miller is one of his "old" boys and will start until johnson can play.. clark mistakes experience for the ability to keep up and actually be able to "influence" the game, its a fine line and miller has crossed it already.. we are not good enough to carry anyone and its happening too often that certain players just dont influence a game one way or another..

Novak works his nuts off, But the position he is currently being asked to play would probably be far more suited to either Donal Mac or Arfield !

I agree about Novak, I think his new role is better suited to away games where he gets more space in front of their back four, pulling defenders towards him and creating gaps for Rhodes to exploit.

At home I think two 'up top' works better and a forward leading midfielder because away teams tend to sit back .

On saturday Oddhams No4 bossed that hole in midfield where we had only Miller (deep) and Robinson (not played regularly)...that's the problem with having 2 wide players...if the opposition put 3 midfielders in the middle, we're stuffed.

It's like when the opposition double up on our wingers...we run into the buffers..we need to use the midfield better because when we lose that area we just end up hoofing it.

Having said all that 3wins and 3 draws from 6 is improved form, and if we can keep our winning sequence going for a while longer then I'm sure we'll get up into the top 2 places..

Can I just say how effective the 'catering boycott" was on Saturday. I don't normally buy anything due to the long queues but I was able to go up to the front and get a red hot pastie. Keep it up everyone.
