Another hard earned 3 points but really find it difficult to see how we can get auto or promoted even. Any thoughts ?

Hard work last night, but don't you think the strong wind played some part in it too? We scored to goals with the wind in our faces, they didn't produce a single shot with the wind in theirs

nothing to do with the wind..
we surrended central midfield..we dropped back onto our centre halves and we defended in a line with no depth to it anyway..
p clarke found himself, alone in our box too often.. we ball watched and got caught time after time.. they had midfielders and forwards moving onto balls which made our static line of defence look even worse.. we played balls to players who were always facing their own goal with a brentford player in their shorts with them..
we sorted it out at half time after luckily getting back into a game we had no right still to be in...thats almost 40 odd minutes of another game wasted ...
the result is what counts, its what counted last season and clark and co totally forgot about the actual performances and shape of the team, which inevitably led to the good kicking at old trafford, lets hope someone, somewhere gets a grip on these very, very poor starts to games... charlton and others may not let us back into a game..
the result is all but managers and coaches get paid to win today and prepare to win next week and as far as i can see , its a total lottery at the moment as to how town play...

sometimes the other teams are gonna turn up and Brentford also had a helluva lot to play for given the cards were already on the table. I now know how wednesday fans felt after we scared the pants off them for 30 minutes fact is; its exactly why Im a football.
I enjoyed the game though i n

Is it only Town fans who knock their team, even when they win?

we showed great character to turn that game around the players deserve massive credit!

Is it only town fans? No of course not. Look at all the Arsenal fans calling for Wengers head. In football people expect their team to walk all over the opposition every single game no matter what.

IMO the wind played a big part last night, but the turning point (possibly of our season) was Alan Lee's goal being allowed.
He's been sent off for less than that this season.
If that had happened we would have been 0-2 down and a man light.
Incidentally why did the ref consult the liner? - perhaps they thought the ball had gone over the line before Lee committed his Nat Lofthouse impersonation.
Nevertheless our central midfield was appalling.
But a wins a win and the other results didn't go too badly - plus we've to play all our main contenders at home.
