WARNING: THIS STAT MAY ANNOY GOONERS

Samir Nasri - although some gĂ´ons say he was a waste of money - has the third most assists in the PL so far this season

I think we'll all agree that he hasn't fully settled in yet - but to be the third best MF in the prem after having such a "poor" season is remarkable!
Can't wait until he hits form

He got that strait from the horses mouth.

So, to summarise; He is statistically the third best player at setting up goals, he is top of the league and his missus is a gorgeous tennis player!

Didn't he set a lot of them up early in the season, I think his return on assists has been lacking recently... good at the start of the season though..

Correct me if I'm wrong but did 4 of those assists not come at WHL when you won 5-1? I remember watching that game and seeing Nasri absolutely destroy Corluka and thinking what the hell have we done letting him go! Turns out that he only seems to play well vs Spurs. I still think he is a class player to be honest but he doesn't seem to fit in in at City. When James Milner is getting in the team ahead of you then you know something isn't right.

Milner has been brilliant this season adventures so what's your point, de Jong can't get into the team an he would walk into arsenals starting 11.

Milner > Ramsey

The problem we have is that Silva, Nasri and Aguero all tend to occupy the same space on the pitch and around the box; it's the reason we've lacked a bit of a cutting edge lately (especially against Liverpool) and have tended to overplay the ball at times. Once Yaya is back our shape will be much better, with Aguero and Silva benefitting.

Also, the reason Milner is a better option than Nasri is that, besides just simply being a better player, he is much more direct and moves the ball much more cleanly; he passes with pace, into feet, and by-and-large picks the right pass every time. Nasri still has a touch of the Arsenal about him; a lot of tippy-tappy around the edge of the box but rarely doing anything with it. He also gives the ball away cheaply at times (although last few games he has improved on this, showing better concentration).

Nasri can come good, especially with Mancini coaching him, but for now Milner is a far better player.
