It's apathy I tells ya, please read on as I give a detailed reason for our apa

Pie, I don't think it's apathy so much as hopelessness. We all know he/they are pathetic, we all know that nothing we do will change those realities, so maybe we are just saying sod it and getting on with our lives until we know more, the club goes into Championship/receivership in one swoop, someone else picks us up as a bargain and tries again. Then we'll get more involved. Many of us have been through this before (several times!) though not as drastic and with a lot less money involved. Short of just refusing to turn up and pay to watch these leaderless lads (and are you all prepared to do that?), there's not a lot we can do. In the end it is our spare cash, our time (and blood pressure!) that keeps this whole house of cards up. Maybe we should just walk away until they act like adults themselves!
Cynically yours

Did anybody notice the lack of celebration when we equalised on Saturday from our players?
I thought it was muted to say the least, almost as if something had gone on prior to the game (Apart from what we know already)

Duggy, perhaps apathy was the wrong word but then as I think and almost as you write, it might also be right.
It's not that I've stopped caring, it's just that if you think about Rovers too much you'll either cry or go on a killing spree!
Hence, apathy is probably a defence mechanism!

Pie, agreed, I am crying all the way to my wine glass tonight. I suggest though to everyone that if, or should I say when, we are declared "Relegated" no one shows up to the remaining home games. That would rattle the bank's till quicker than you can say "Another perceptive, quality pass from Goodwillie".

I think everyone would feel less depressed if there was any hope for next season. You could then be philosophical about relegation and think about the best strategy for coming back up. But with Venkys in charge continued idiocy is guaranteed, no promotion is guaranteed, and god only knows where we'll finish or how we'll get on against Burnley.

Exactly B&WH. Somewhat resigned to our fate this season unless the manager is immediately removed and someone qualified brought in, but as I have been saying that for about 8 months now it is just pie in the sky. Leaving us with relegation and the aforementioned lack of hope with these owners and managers in place.

how we'll get on against Burnley
-----------
Relegate us - Rovers Fans will hate you, moan on internet/pub/work, organise peaceful protests
Fail to sack Steve Kean - Rovers Fans will hate you, moan on internet/pub/work, organise peaceful protests
Lose to Burnley - Shudder to think!

Couldn't agree more. It is not just that this season has been a disaster, but it seems that now season after season will just be the same until we get a change at the top.
