According to thom kirwin ( from twitter ) warnock will be appointed as manager.
The reason its taking a while is hes still sorting out the compensation from QPR. Redders is expected to be in charge for saturday.
Id be happy with this, although lambert would be fantastic! Experience and not a yes man. Not the most popular but he is proven.
What are your thoughts on it? Happy, fuming?

Listen, Warnock didn't have 2 hafpennies to rub together at Sheff Utd but got them to the prem. They would have stayed up as well if West Ham hadn't cheated with the Tevez and mate fiasco, so went down and were compensated a few million.
He's switched on and knows his stuff and has learnt the hard way and worked for dodgy chairman as well. A mate of mine was a top player who had to pack it in through injury, but he was Sheff Utd through and through, so worked as scout in his spare time for the club. Even looking after the kids etc. Warnock arrived at the club and he was given the push within a month. he stayed in contact with the place though and hated Warnock for what he did. Within 3 months he had changed his mind and decided Warnock was brilliant and did the right thing and the coaches and staff were all better than him. he still sees Warnock at functions and they smile at each other, but my mate has only good things to say about him.
Warnock did fantastic at Palace as well, and if it weren't for the joke owner (Jordan) would have taken them up as well. he didn't spend mega bucks last season neither to get QPR up, because the Italian regime who ran the club were like Bates and just wanted to make cash and sell on

Bates won't take Warnock, even though (and perhaps because) most of us want him to!

Warnock will be a massive boost the team IMO. He won the league last season, as well as winning promotion loads before. He knows the lower leagues well, and will get the players riled up, and could easily push us into the playoffs.
Don't let the performances under Redfearn fool you. Some of these players have been absolutely terrible this season and in their whole Leeds careers. They're playing to stay at the club!
