According to thom kirwin ( from twitter ) warnock will be appointed as manager
..................

I cant see where he says this??????

I follow him but cant see a tweet from him

He's definately deleted some tweets from yesterday, although I didn't see anything about Warnock either. Probably just someone having a laugh with his phone.

I don't know about Twitter .... but i think Warnock is chatting to the club. He's been linked, installed as Bookies fav and generally been mentioned in the media ever since SG departed.

For me this just means there's dialogue ongoing in the background. If he wasn't interested or wanted a break from management, then Warnock strikes me as the type to go public and say so.

i've no facts to base that on ... just thoughts on the situation as it appears to stand.

I agree with you, although I dont think warnock can say anything in public until he has sorted out his compensation with qpr

Warnock's on record last week of saying anyone would be crazy not consider managing a club like Leeds.

Now thats not to say that it'll happen because no way will he work with Bates unless he has guarantees. With regard to his QPR severance, I think you'll find he was sorted out quickly because of what he'd done for the club, and the new owner isn't a bates type person

I honestly would be surprised if we get Warnock in.... I like his CV, but not so hot on him I must say, I'd still take him, but for the following reasons I don't he'll be our manager....

Can't see in his interveiw with Bates him beung promised money to spend, enough for him to think 'yeah ok' I can pick ansd choose my targets....

Also, his wage demands could be higher than say Redders..

I could be wrong of course but I can't see it.....

Bates needs to distract fans. A high profile manager would do the jrick

MEME, how do you know that warnock will be in by end of the week?, are you bates in disguise

LIW... I'm not sure you know.... Warnock has to be backed, I don't think he'll settle for playing the saving money option.... like Warnocks CV for sure, and would want him to be manger, just can't see it though.

Has long has its all upfront and isnt lied to about the budget, he be fine.

Grayson was backed.

I'll ask you a question, do you think Clark has been backed at hudders

hmmm agreed ish...... though if SG was backed, and just bad judgement, is it justified we hammer Bates for not investing the team?

about Clark, I don't know to be fair.. you?

Yeah i think he's been backed.

But everyone reckons grayson hasnt yet leeds wage bill when in league 1 is double what Huddersfield is this season.

Its strange how its perceived

Yeah because Leeds are massive, turnover double everyone else easily ( parchute payments and west ham granted) and should be spending more

thats what I mean about Warnock, would he say to Bates, from this income / turnover, I need at least x amount on new players etc etc...
