Everyone except Chelsea fans and Capello can see it was right to strip Terry of the captain, for various reasons.
Now Capello has resigned. If Terry had done the right thing by giving up the armband voluntarily rather than forcing the FA to take it from him, humiliating Capello and the squad, none of this would have happened.
So will Chelsea fans now finally admit that Terry was not the right man to lead England?
Time to eat humble pie?

When did we play ALBANIA.
-----------------------
Sorry, it was ALGERIA. Thanks for the correction
Bovrilgate, everyone knew Keegan and McClaren (not to mention Graham Taylor and Glenn Hoddle) were out of their depth. It always amazes me how the FA keep appointing one useless manager after another.
But they were right to strip JT of the captaincy. Although you might not agree with that choice, the FA would have been even more of a laughing stock if they'd done nothing, especially after the Suarez saga

Do not try to curry favour with Chelsea fans by lumping that racist in with JT. We're tired of this being brought up. If Liverpool had a problem with it they would have appealed. They didn't, he was found guilty, is clearly guilty and you need to take your medicine.
....
So the FA say he isn't a racist, Evra said he isn't racist and Suarez said he is no racist - all the parties involved agree to this.
Yet here you are spouting rubbish.
We're all tired of pathetic individuals like you who back the FA when it suits your club.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Not true. I think JT will be found not guilty unlike your despicable centre forward. Both cases are miles apart and you're just sympathising with Chelsea fans to build an allegiance. Which no right minded Chelsea fan will do because the actions of your club over the last couple of months has been a disgrace. JT is innocent until proven guilty. Suerez is guilty, guilty, guilty and I wouldn't have him at my club after what he did. Which in fairness some Chelsea fans have said about JT. If he is found guilty. So fair play to them.

/\ so you decided he was guilty before there was any evidence and/or decision
Great stuff - hypocrite

What are you on about? I suggest you read my post properly. JT not guilty. Suerez guilty. What's hypocritcal about that?

JT verdict pending
Suarez - no evidence. Based on probability.
You clearly didnt read the report and / or understand it.

Suerez case was allowed to be based on the balance of probabilites, that was the burdon of proof. Hence he was found guilty and is guilty. Move on, everyone knows what he is and you won't find any sympathy here. What JT did or didn't do is completely different.

I don't understand why people think Terry should have stood down. He hasn't been found guilty and maintains his innocence. Let's just say he had kept the armband and is found not guilty, would he be expected to stand down?

The hypocrisy of so called fans amazes me - I don't believe 99% of them give a fat rats tail about the events of the infamous Chelsea v QPR game other than it is a stick to beat John Terry with because he holds the England Captains armband over their own heroes..
If they were so outraged about such alledged incidents they would not be so quick to back the loutish behaviour of their own icons!

I support United but I don't blindly back our players. As human beings I would say that from what I know and have heard from them they're not my cup of tea. Players come and go but it's the club I support. If one of our players was facing what you have with JT or Liverpool had with you know who then I wouldn't back them blindly. I'd let justice take it's course.

At the moment justice is taking it's course - but as always with John Terry - people want to pre-empt it!
