Couldn't care about international football.
I hate our presss and its fanfare.
The ridiculous emphasis we put on the captaincy.
And our belief that these 11 idiots represent our country when they play footy.
Isn't it also bizzare to support a group of players due to a relatively close geographical location to your house?
Just give cpataincy to guy with most cpas like sensible good footy teams such as italy and german do...

Ashley cole anyone?

Easy to say when they charge one of your players

There was pressure all round for Terry to stand down, but he refused. So the FA had no choice but to act for the benefit of Englands Euro 2012 campign.

I don't see how you can blame the FA for this, exen if they are clowns

Do not try to curry favour with Chelsea fans by lumping that racist in with JT. We're tired of this being brought up. If Liverpool had a problem with it they would have appealed. They didn't, he was found guilty, is clearly guilty and you need to take your medicine.

I just can't be bothered anymore. Since this Terry saga began the overreaction from media and rival fans jumping onto him has been massive, for every one you try to debate there are another 3 coming to this board saying the same nonsense over and over again. Why make another article saying the same thing as 3 others in the last hour? 1 stars

I agree. We all have our issues with the FA, some justified. But it would have been disastorous to back him and him be found guilty.

Cappello has gone up in my opinion. The FA were pretty stupid to do that to Terry and totally wrong!

We'll be out at group stage anyway

Plenty of time for the new boy to step in & sort us out for more humiliation at the next world cup

....

So the FA say he isn't a racist, Evra said he isn't racist and Suarez said he is no racist - all the parties involved agree to this.

Yet here you are spouting rubbish.

We're all tired of pathetic individuals like you who back the FA when it suits your club.

I saw your post david Luiz.

How can you call the England captaincy overrated when Chelseas leader Terry wanted it so badly?

I agree these guys don't care much about playing for England. Maybe a better captain than Terry could change that?

TBH i think we have a better chance than under Capello. No manager has ever got so little out of so much.

Look at the hideous Albania game as well as our defeat to Germany. How can a manager make every single player play so far below their ability?

posted on 8/2/12

Everyone except Chelsea fans and Capello can see it was right to strip Terry of the captain, for various reasons.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suggest you read the responses to the same assertion by David Bond, sports editor BBC. There was overwhelming support for Capello and John Terry and not just from Chelsea fans.

the English FA have always been a laughing stock.
Can't wait to see their next move.
Maybe they can bring back McClaren or Keegan. After all they are English and thats what matters old boy.
Wait a minute one bottled it halfway through the qualifiers and the other failed to get through the qualifiers.
Whereas Sven and Capello have always qualified.
Despite the failures when they got to the finals they still qualified.

Sorry, it was ALGERIA. Thanks for the correction

Bovrilgate, everyone knew Keegan and McClaren (not to mention Graham Taylor and Glenn Hoddle) were out of their depth. It always amazes me how the FA keep appointing one useless manager after another.

But they were right to strip JT of the captaincy. Although you might not agree with that choice, the FA would have been even more of a laughing stock if they'd done nothing, especially after the Suarez saga

Not true. I think JT will be found not guilty unlike your despicable centre forward. Both cases are miles apart and you're just sympathising with Chelsea fans to build an allegiance. Which no right minded Chelsea fan will do because the actions of your club over the last couple of months has been a disgrace. JT is innocent until proven guilty. Suerez is guilty, guilty, guilty and I wouldn't have him at my club after what he did. Which in fairness some Chelsea fans have said about JT. If he is found guilty. So fair play to them.

What are you on about? I suggest you read my post properly. JT not guilty. Suerez guilty. What's hypocritcal about that?

JT verdict pending

Suarez - no evidence. Based on probability.

You clearly didnt read the report and / or understand it.

Suerez case was allowed to be based on the balance of probabilites, that was the burdon of proof. Hence he was found guilty and is guilty. Move on, everyone knows what he is and you won't find any sympathy here. What JT did or didn't do is completely different.

I don't understand why people think Terry should have stood down. He hasn't been found guilty and maintains his innocence. Let's just say he had kept the armband and is found not guilty, would he be expected to stand down?
