A Hypothetical Question

If Harry Redknapp was to become the new England manager:-

1. What would your thoughts on this be?
2. Who would you want to replace him?
3. What would you think of England's chances?
4. Will Rosie take over the U21's?

For the more serious posters, please skip question 4.

Which was the point I was trying to make. At an international tournament you don't have to have a tactical master, to do well, when you are lucky enough to be coaching one of the top teams

And England are one of the top teams ?

Trust me it will take a far better manager than Harry for us to stand any hope whatsoever of winning the euros sadly

Yes England are on of the top teams. It doesn't take a genius to pick England's best players. I think they need to be motivated and to show more passion and Harry is the man to do that, in my opinion.

Right so millions spent on Sven, millions spent on Capello and all we really needed was a bit of motivation.

Ok great call

Yes. Robson, Venables or Hoddle weren't tactically great but they knew how to motivate their players. This is what it's about when it comes to international tournaments.

Thats total rubbish all 3 of them were very strong tactically and if you dont have the best players (which we dont) you then need a damned good tactician which is how Greece won the euros a few years ago.
