I don't really want him out. I certainly don't have that anger towards him like I have with previous managers e.g. Grant, Scolari and at times Carlo. Thats probably because I can see the players themselves on huge wages are also to blame and need to show some guts and take responsibility on the pitch.
However, it seems to me that AVB is clearly out of his depth. Why Cahill is being dropped I don't know and add to that AVBs post match interview just shows hes not really cut out for this level YET!
There are Chelsea fans out there who still back AVB 100%, there are those out there (like me) who are still backing him but can clearly see he is not ready for the job and then there are those who WANT AVB OUT!!!
To be honest I don't blame the AVB out brigade as since his arrival he has shown basically NOTHING to suggest we are moving forward in this transition. He just cant cope with this task. His first mistake and biggest mistake was giving our flops a chance in the summer. This is the main reason why I think he is not cut out for the job and ultimately just not a good enough manager yet.
As I said before however, I mostly have a vendetta against practically over half our squad of overpaid underperformers.
I'm not even angry no more, I've just literally given up hope on our season and my belief in AVB is hanging by a thread.
Still I havnt and never will give up hope on Chelsea FC as a club.

To be honest no I am not. But what do clubs train 5 days a week for???
Answer: To prepare and be in the best shape for the next match. To get the tactics, movements and strategy spot on.
Training is one of the most important tasks a manager needs to be on top of in football. You need the right coaching setup etc so you can translate this onto the pitch come game time.
When I saw United last week I was very impressed with thier movement and the understanding between players. That can only be developed through a great training regime.

I guess you could say losing Steve Clarke was not a good thing, & he hasn't been replaced, I even liked Ray Wilkins, but Roman didn't & we never got to the bottom of that
As for our training facility -

Sacking him now would make us the laughing stock of the country.

Actually Spurs sacked more managers (and players) than us... until they got their man.

Well its clear that we are not utilising this 5* looking complex effectively.
Just because it looks nice, that doesn't mean that we are using it to its true potential which is clear by the way we are playing every week.

I can´t help but feel that too many of our fans have this fantasy of Mourinho coming back to Chelsea in shining armour and saving us all.

And I'm one of them.
I do believe that one day Jose WILL come back.

Who's to say AVB wouldn't have won the Champions' League this season with Porto?
They had a system under him that was offensively frightening, this season they just aren't at that level.
Coincidence?

We will never know now will we but he should have stayed to find out how good he was at the highest level..
Just because he was doing a great job at Porto it doesn't mean he can automatically mirror Jose's success at Chelsea.
Porto have also lost thier main striker too, so I'm not suprised they have gone down hill.

Obviously we can't know now, but it gives me hope that, given the backing to build his own team, he can make us similar to if not better than what he had at Porto, though the egos have to go.
