Owners interferring in the Tevez saga?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2100588/Carlos-Tevez-vows-win-Manchester-City-fans.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

Just reading that is making me want to punch the guy (and i'm a United fan!).

After reading that I can't see how Mancini would allow him to come back, especially after saying he'll never play again. It got me thinking that the owners had to have said something to Mancini to make him u-turn on the situation.

This is the worst part:
"To be insulted by fans after what happened in Munich was something I didn't deserve"

I was just wondering if you think this is the right call by the club?

Let's get it right: football deserves better.

i would love to see Tevez sue Koorachabin for poor advice.

As Mancini already said, there are a few things which Tevez needs to iron out with the club before that can happen.

Tevez is a lot like Suarez, but are weasel's of which you would not get bored of punching.

If it was up to me, he would never wear the shirt again but then I don't own the club. There's financial expediency on both sides here; both the club and the player stand a far better chance of getting the deal they want in the summer if Tevez is fit and performing. It's as simple as that imo.

I'd make him eat the spiciest dish I know an then hide all the big rolls, is that going to fahl?

If Man. City/Mancini take Tevez back then they will have set a new low standard for lack of principle and self-respect!
In fact, if this does happen, Tevez should be named team Manager and Mancini should be offered a job on the ground crew!

If the club state officially that we don't want him and won't play him, he can terminate his contract under the "sporting just cause" rule.
However, by saying "of course we want him here, and he can play" then sticking him on the bench for a few games so that he "features" in at least 10% of the games he's available for, he has to abide by the terms of his contract and can't just walk out & go to another club for free.
The reason Carlos has suddenly decided that he'd really like to play for us and help us win the title rather than working on his golf handicap might be due to his advisers advising him of this little clause which prevents him from becoming a freebie.
