It's not very fashionable these days, but 3-5-2, or 3-4-1-2 to be more precise, could suit us.
We have good attacking full backs and an extra centre back may help keep things tighter at the back.
Snoddy could then be given a free role behind the front two.

Don't want McCarthy.
Last thing we need is another manager who's a 'local lad' coming in. I'm a local lad. So what. Can they do the job and deal with the nutter in the chairman's seat?

No way would he be too much wages.
I'd flip if he got the job, though.
I've not put up with three years of Grayson only to see Mick McCarthy given the job.
He's a total comedy manager.

How does a comedy manager win it twice?
That's more then warnock may I add.

Tommy, solid point.
Blue, I agree again. McCarthy is about the level of a Steve Bruce. They're both okay. But not what we need.

These things happen in football.
Grayson's record looks decent but we all know how bad he is.
Look how bad Sunderland were in the Prem, and Wolves performance yesterday was total slapstick, one of the funniest games I've ever seen.

But we are not in prem are we?
Why does every one look that far forward?
Forget prem we is miles from it.
Nothing like grayson he could not get us in top 2 let alone top 6.

The size of the club and the expectations makes it like managing a Prem club.

I would put sunderland in that line as well.
Did it there.

We're much bigger than Sunderland, and they were an absolute disaster in the Prem under him.
Hasn't he also signed Neill Collins twice?
