It'd be nice to see it tried. If it didn't work we could always change it back at half time. But the thing is...we can barely put together a decent CB pair, let alone 3!
-----Lees ---- Bruce -----O'Dea
Smith-----------------------------White
-----------Clayton ------Delph
------------------Snodgrass------------
----McCormack----Becchio---
Could possibly work.
That's the team I was thinking of, Best Fans.
Would this be your line-up (assuming all are fit):
Donnie
Lees AOB Bruce
Thompson White
Delph Clayton
Snoddy
Becchio McC
Subs: Taylor, Pugh, O'Dea, Zac T, Nunez
????
Meant to say Smith not Thompson at RB.
But you get my drift.
3-5-3 for me and then we may win a game
I'd consider Leigh Bromby, too.
Redfearn seems to be getting the centre backs to play out from the back, and Bromby looks to be the best at that to me.
Tbh, I couldn't actually pick one of our CBs at being best at playing out from the back. They all hoof!
It was telling on Saturday that BHA's centre backs
tried to pass and play the ball out from the back.
Not one time did they look to hoof it. If Redfearn only
does one thing while in charge, I hope its getting Lees/
Bromby/Bruce/AOB/O'Dea/Whoever playing the ball
on the ground and out from the back. Hoof ball was
SG's defensive trademark. Need to see that gone.
The hoofball defending really cost us last season.
All the players in front liked to play, but the defenders just hoofed it and it made the team disjointed.
You can't make trip play football clive
Macca tryed and failed very bad.
Clive, even more so when McC was isolated.
That was beyond a joke. BHA gave us a lesson
in passing as a whole team.
He didn't fail, we played teams off the park.
It was Grayson stopping them from playing that failed.
Leon Britton was in Swansea's team in League 2, now he's got better passing stats than Xavi in his first season in the Prem at 29.
Grayson the defender by trade having no clue how to defend is one of the great LUFC mysteries. That and
where Ken hides all the money.
While you're here, meme, where do you stand on Mick?

He didn't fail?
He got sack and gave us Worst result in our history. 4 games with no win against poor teams.
I think Lees can play out from the back given the chance.
Hopefully Redfearn is drilling that into them on the training ground. They have a long way to go though to
get to where BHA are in terms of playing from the back.
For Leeds?
Well he got 2 teams up Won it at Sunderland and wolves ? Gave wolves there best ever finish since 1980 at 15th at top level seen that on sky sports.
Am not sure really.
He not get it any way to much wages I would think.
What you think?
Don't want McCarthy.
Last thing we need is another manager who's a 'local lad' coming in. I'm a local lad. So what. Can they do the job and deal with the nutter in the chairman's seat?

No way would he be too much wages.
I'd flip if he got the job, though.
I've not put up with three years of Grayson only to see Mick McCarthy given the job.
He's a total comedy manager.
How does a comedy manager win it twice?
That's more then warnock may I add.
Tommy, solid point.
Blue, I agree again. McCarthy is about the level of a Steve Bruce. They're both okay. But not what we need.
