Conspiracy theory...

Ok, looks like we're bug gered. Interesting however that the reason given for us entering admin now is because, even if we win the tax case, we have to pay up if HMRC appeal ie we get our money back if said appeal is unsuccessful. That doesn't tally with Mr Whyte's claim that he was confident we'd win when he took over ie if winning is the same as losing now then surely it was back then?

Surely this can't all have been a big ruse to free MIM of the liability at Gers expense and have a 'patsy' take the flak for SDM (soon to be just DM if Fred Goodwin is anything to go by).....can it? Is this is a huge swindle and some very clever work which could potentially leave us debt free and MIM in the clear? Why would HMRC allow a liability like this to be transferred from a company with 100's of millions in assets to one that was nearly bust? Alex Salmond anyone?

Probably all bs tbh - I know nuffin

You make a good point MG.............Whyte is no more than a shyster and it may just be that Murray was compliant.

Mordor, not necessarily will the taxman get his bit. Infact, very very unlikely will he. The only certainty is Whyte will come out it well. Rangers, and the HMRC can whistle for their money as far as he is concerned.

Hector won't chase Whyte- it's Murray and Rangers on the menu.

My argument is there may be nothing for them to get. Like I say, I believe Whyte has set this up in such a way he will get all his money, and possibly the ticketus many also (if he secured it against himself). In the even of liquidation, there would be no rangers for the taxman to go after.
