Which is what I've been saying all along, but was being told point-blank that Fred and Mr 4Times somehow acquired their information without that 3rd party and I was somehow redefining their whole lives by saying that this was probably not the case. I'm over the abuse now though.

Read Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomski for a brilliant analysis of how the media create a set of accepted norms within a society to suit their agenda. We have to accept and live by those norms unless we are prepared to stand out from the crowd.
