Gally has to play he is on fire Beckford and Nugent great understanding and Becky deft touches beatifully effective.

The rest of outfield could be Dropped for Norwich.

Yes our defence was poor,we are nothing more than an average team in an average league.
But yet again the officials get it wrong, Beckford was in the box and it was a penalty.
The linesman says it was outside the box, and the ref sends the wrong man off.Absolute shambles from the officials, and another dishonest mistake by the ref.
Yet again another match decided by the officials, how much longer do we have to put up with this??

I'm not sure in what context Gallagher has anything to do with the third?? Danns lost the ball, half-hearted block by Mills, but I wouldn't suggest his defending was that awful. Other players were very slow to get back though.

St Ledger deserves his place and at CB, I don't see why he should be shifted over.

If we had any sort of cover in midfield, I'd drop all four. However, we have little choice but to play Wellens and Danns and I would consider Marshall and Kennedy either side.

Re penalty; in normal speed it looks like a certain penalty, however I replayed it and then slow mo'ed it and then froze the picture, the tackle was just outside the penalty box, no penalty

Iv seen penalties given very similar to that one im sure there was one in the prem the other week that looked outside but was given.

its going to be a struggle this weekend with how many players not available but should be a good game still

The foul on Beckford was outside the box - the confusion arose because the ref sent off the wrong player. Doyley, who was sent off, simply committed the heinous crime of clearing the ball from the box after Beckford had already gone to ground. Another Watford defender (Mariappa I think) had already brought Jermaine down and that must be what the foul and red card were given for. And that incident, as old fox says, definitely occurred just outside the area.
