Players to take wage cut

I'm hearing that many of the players have voluntered to take a big wage cut so that the non footballing staff aren't layed off that's a great gesture and it shows the spirit around the club at the moment and that the players know exactly what the club is all about and they know what the club means to the fans.

I've got a feeling the atmosphere tomorrow is going to be special even better than Old Firm games in fact the Killie players and fans won't have experienced anything like it so let's show the players and staff our full support and make sure to be on your best behaviour let's not give anyone any ammunition to attack us even more.

So regardless of your feelings to Whyte/HMRC/Celtic etc.. forget them this isn't the game for a protest this is for getting behind the club this is the first game in a while that I am actually looking forward to.

So, they have just found the money behind the couch cushions then?

No surrender indeed.

return of the pie clearly not up to date with crwds at scottish cup games at Ibrox

january 2011 rangers v kilmarnock 4th round scottish cup at Ibrox and 13,000 in the crowd

the crowd at the dundee utd game was normal for a cup game

To be fair, when Dundee went into admin they did the same thing. I'm sure the manager was working for buttons too.

Commendable nonetheless.

Polloks, good point. But wasn't that game on a cold rainy night on a Tuesday/Wednesday when Rangers were still in three competitions and the Scottish Cup was not as important as it would have been.

I can't criticise, because I find paying an extra £50 or something for my son and I just to attend another home game as farcical, when I have already spent in excess of £500 on season tickets and the match is on the BBC.
