Stoke 0-1 Valencia

After Valencia, Spains version of Arsenal, outclassed Stoke, Arsenal must be asking themselves some questions.

Why have Arsenal been unable to outclass this type of opposition since 2005? Is it because the only way to stop Arsenal is to play rugby? If so, why have good technical teams been able to beat Arsenal as well?

How have Arsenal allowed the likes of Sam Allardyce and Tony Pulis to get under their skin? Valencia last night showed 'rugby teams' should be bread and butter to football teams like Arsenal.

Yes but unlike Wenger signing big names, Emery did not sign Villa, Silva, Mata or Pablo Hernandez.

TBF Arsenal always beat these "rugby" teams at The Emirates.

It's normal to struggle away against the physical sides in the prem, even us, City and United find it tough at the Brittania.

"Tbh I think Wenger's going to stay regardless of what happens this season because of our gutless Board."

I think if we finish outside the top 4 he will resign.

Batmanu did you see the articles about him losing the rag with the team and giving them the hairdryer treatment with Walcott and others supposedly now fighting for their careers with Arsenal?

No AHB I didn't see it. Is the source even reliable? To be honest he should have been doing that sort of thing well over a year ago to show the likes of Cesc and Nasri that we had ambition to go forward as a club.

AHB- We might see a change in attitude for a while but once we get a couple of wins under our belt he'll be back to his usual self i.e starting the likes of Ramsey and Walcott again. The man just gave that good for nothing Djourou a 3 year contract extension, when is he going to learn that these players will never be good enough for Arsenal.

Definitely happened but as you say, what's taken so long for this to happen? Then again, if the penny is dropping better late than never.

I know and this is worrying. It is hard to imagine him turning from Mother Goose to brutal disciplinarian in the long-term. Still though, if he's acknowledging certain players aren't doing enough, then that's something at least (if he is to to stay beyond this season).
