Many people ask this question often...why did we fare so badly last season after winning the double the season prior to that.
The answer is simple Ballack,Belleti,Deco,Joe cole and Carvalho....we lost so much experience and proven quality in the same season ..a few of them had been at the club for a long time and knew the club through and through..
Now when you get rid of so much experience in a go then you are going to suffer and that is exactly what happened to us .....as soon as our key players picked up injuries and were suffering from a lack of form we really struggled to put together a string of wins..that is where a strong squad comes into play..we had that in 2009-2010 season but not so in 2010-2011 season..atleast not till feb 2011!!

With the possible exception of Ballack we were right to get rid of all the players we did.
Joe Cole on 120,000 per week ??!! No thanks.
The problem was that we didn´t properly replace them.
5 players out and only 2 in was never going to work well. Especially as 1 of them (Benayoun) was injured most of the season.

We missed Joe Cole? You must be insane!
We didn't replace Ballack and our replacement for Deco got crocked, that did have some negative effect.

I agree with SuperbFrank.
Even with Ballack it was right. Ramires replaced him well, as did Mikel, and he didn't even get into double figures for Leverkusen.
I think that Carlo should have trusted more in the younger players when we needed them

We know pretty much all returning banned users and their accounts, which we may or may not permit depending on severity of offence. Even a couple of the CFC users have had their extra WUM accounts whittled down. you know who you are.
