25th Feb - City v Rovers - 0 points
3rd March - Rovers v Villa - 3 points
10th March - Wolves v Rovers - 1 point
17th March - Rovers v Sunderland - 1 point
24th March - Bolton v Rovers - 1 point
2nd April - Rovers v Man United - 0 points
7th April - WBA v Rovers - 1 point
9th April - Rovers v Liverpool - 1 point
14th April - Swansea v Rovers - 0 points
21st April - Rovers v Norwich - 3 points
28th April - Spurs v Rovers - 0 points
5th May - Rovers v Wigan - 3 points
13th May - Chelsea v Rovers - 0 points
I imagine we will obtain between 11 and 17 points from the remaining fixtures. My personal guess is 14 as shown, which would leave us with 35 points in total.
With only 13 games left to play, wins away at Man City or Chelsea or Spurs, or at home to United or Liverpool may well be required to keep us up.
This rollercoaster is not slowing down anytime soon.

Villa fans seem to think they are likely to fall down there.

Villa have been pretty woeful of late from what I've seen of them and don't have the greatest of managers in Mcleish, but should still have enough to get 12 points from 13 games

Think Swansea are going to get sucked down into it and Villa are going nowhere fast.

Swansea have to many points to get grapped back into a relegation battle but i think they will start to lose alot more games

Can't see Villa falling into it, haven't got the best manager but their team is top half standard. Their fans are being ridiculous about possible relegation, probably in an effort to exaggerate McCleish's failings and whip up support to get him sacked.
You should put money on that 15th McTeeth, I'd imagine the bookies think we've got no chance of finishing that high.

Swansea have to play Us, Wigan, QPR, Bolton and Wolves. Just winning a couple of them will take them to 36 and probably a finish above us

The object is to get as many points as possible. There isn't any magic number of points that will see Rovers safe. They simply have to win more points than three other teams. However, a win against Wolves may prove to be more valuable than one against Manchester United.
Whilst Rovers are obviously in danger of relegation, they still have the opportunity to preserve their status. It will be done more easily if everyone pulls together. And wouldn't it be a Great Escape!
