you have us winning all 3 of the home games that you would (of in the past) label genuinely winnable. Under Kean we know that we are unlikely to win all 3.

Yeah I know SKL....but I avoided saying we would beat Sunderland at home and it is not unreasonable to think we may win at any of Wolves, Bolton, West Brom or Swansea.
Its going to be tough, whichever way it goes.
I remember everyone doing this with our run-in last season. Yours has a good a chance of being right as any oojw but in the 12 months since its become apparent that Rovers under Kean are one of the most unpredictable teams in the league. Take some of our results over christmas: 0 points from Bolton, West Brom and Stoke at home, 5 points from Man U, Liverpool and Everton away.
All that can be certain is we've virtually no chance of hitting the magic 40 point mark and so will probably be in the mire until the very end.
(and then the rest of the country will proclaim Kean a hero again if we stay up)
I know it is hard to predict B&WH, unlike my football coupon which is always down at weekends....... My worry being that I have been way too optimistic!!
Games against Swansea, Norwich and Wigan amongst the last five matches may help.
As I've mentioned many a time I don't bother predicting past the next game nowadays. Hopefully AVB is still in charge at Chelsea on last day of the season though
Also it makes no difference to anything but the Sunderland game won't be played on 17th as thats FA cup weekend. Don't think its been rescheduled yet
I think it is very important we beat Wigan and avoid defeat at Wolves and Bolton.

Fair point, I think we probably have 3 wins left in us, but where they will come is anyone's guess.
Where they come is actually really important, we need them to be against the teams around us.
The other teams all have similar fixtures, and I don't suppose that they will radically change their form. I haven't looked at the odds, but I imagine that you will be very well rewarded if you can successfully predict the final order at the bottom of the table. Once again, it could well go right to the end of the season. Let's hope that the whole squad will be ready and willing to contribute.
I think 14 PTS will be about right i'm hoping some of the teams have nothing left to play for like Swansea and Chelsea and we steal some wins
Not sure if a team has ever stayed up with only 35 points?
This is were the lads have to start pulling up trees so we can say why did they not do this at the beginning of the season.
I reckon an extra win (Wolves) and we might just scrape it.
As somebody above said we don't want to be losing against Wolves/Bolton/Wigan.
Get the 'lube' ordered early!
Not sure if a team has ever stayed up with only 35 points?
----------
2009-10
17 West Ham United 38 8 11 19 47 66 −19 35
18 Burnley (R) 38 8 6 24 42 82 −40 30
I imagine there are others thats just the most recent
I wouldn't be surprised if 35 is about the average to stay up. Pundits always go on about the 40 point mark but that was probably more relevant when the league had 22 teams. Unless you're saying 40 will guarantee it but 35 gives you a decent chance. Our problem is we'll need an improvement to even get to 35, if we carry on as we have been we're looking at around 32.
We're going to finish 15th
That would still be poor considering how valuable our squad is under Kean.

Who do you predict is getting dragged back into it?
Villa (7 points ahead of us at moment) or West Brom (8 points)?
Villa fans seem to think they are likely to fall down there.
Villa have been pretty woeful of late from what I've seen of them and don't have the greatest of managers in Mcleish, but should still have enough to get 12 points from 13 games
Think Swansea are going to get sucked down into it and Villa are going nowhere fast.
Swansea have to many points to get grapped back into a relegation battle but i think they will start to lose alot more games
Can't see Villa falling into it, haven't got the best manager but their team is top half standard. Their fans are being ridiculous about possible relegation, probably in an effort to exaggerate McCleish's failings and whip up support to get him sacked.
You should put money on that 15th McTeeth, I'd imagine the bookies think we've got no chance of finishing that high.
Swansea have to play Us, Wigan, QPR, Bolton and Wolves. Just winning a couple of them will take them to 36 and probably a finish above us

Well they will with that attitude young man!
They will be no more teams dragged back into a relegetion battle it's to big a gap
The object is to get as many points as possible. There isn't any magic number of points that will see Rovers safe. They simply have to win more points than three other teams. However, a win against Wolves may prove to be more valuable than one against Manchester United.
Whilst Rovers are obviously in danger of relegation, they still have the opportunity to preserve their status. It will be done more easily if everyone pulls together. And wouldn't it be a Great Escape!
