How will we react?

One question I don't really want to have answered is how the blue and white faithfull will react in the event of defeat. Will everyone start getting heavily on Meggo´s back. Will we all start questioning MM's wisdom in controlling the purse strings too tightly? Will this mean a heavy exodus of the Hillsborough faithful? I pray by Sunday evening these questions will all be proved irrelevant!!

We will soon know the outcome of this vital match. A result for us is vital in our hopes of renewing our promotion push (albeit via the play-offs). Come on Wednesday.....give it your all and show who are the real bosses of the steel city of Sheffield! It's time our boys become men!! UTO!!

I asked the question a few weeks back, how important will Sunday's derby be in terms of a promotion place. It is now. If we lose we will not get an auto spot. It will be hard to come back from four losses on the bounce including one to the blunts. If we win, and I think we will, then its game on, but only just.

Marshall leaving has torpedoed our auto bid, you can't expect Megson to shoulder the blame for that, he made a decent offer which was rejected by Marshall. Megson has got us to a point beyond many pre-season expectations. It would make us look plain daft if we started to get on his back. The man has got us into contention by demanding solid graft from a group of players that are barely a year in the making as a squad. get on his back if and when he wastes any money that Mandaric finds down the back of his sofa in the summer. Getting restless now would be completely wrong.

My reaction to Sundays' result win, lose or draw, will be to keep calm and stay fully behind the team and Meggo.

Back the team, it is a derby, we will win.

Well said Shibbs.

Ive heard a few fans gettin fed up with Meggy, sayin he aint no good and all the rest of it (those away from this forum), its plain stupid to say that, we have hit a dip in form, that is all, look at the blunts earlier in the season, they looked like they would nose dive, but look at them now, they kept their head down and prior to this Sunday, they have looked every bit a promotion side (spit spit), all we need is a good result this sunday and the confidence will flow again!

What we have to do is really get in their faces and show them who are the daddies in Sheffield, play at a high tempo and maintain this throughout the game and for the rest of the season!!!

COME ON WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!

WEDNESDAY TILL I DIE!!!!!!!!!

How will we react??? You'll find out Sunday after final whistle we have basically sold out the biggest ground outside the Premiership for a div 3 fixture.

I think I'll hear any reaction from my living room in Cumbria. Wish I could get there.

Oh and I'd give up on promotion for a sizeable result on Sunday. (So thats put the Kaibosh on both)

Something that we must take into account is that this is the first week in ages where the team has had a real breather......no mid-week match and an extra day's rest........could prove to be a decisive factor!!!
