Saturday..

Bournemouth (8th) v M.K. Donalds (5th)
Uddersfield (4th) v Exeter (19th)
Charlton (1st) v Stevanage (6th)
Carlisle (7th) v Yeovil ( 18th)

We could be in 5th place come 17.00. on Saturday..
..but then again !

When Sunday comes..

Wednesday v Wilson's Piggies..

.. If we win, I'll get hammered..
.. If we dunt win, I'll get hammered
.. If we draw, I'm not going to work on Monday ( can't face work on a Monday without an hangover )

I know the feeling, Dry. I might get hammered even before the match so I don't have to go through the agony !

I'll manfully shake the hand of the nearest blunt and say 'Well played' then I'll appluad Meggy and the lads off.

Unless we're getting well and truly hammered in which case I'll be past Wadsley Bridge WMC before the final whistle goes, dicatating my latest green ink missive to meggy telling him where he's going wrong based on my lifetimes experience of eating pies and getting drunk in and around football grounds.

I admire your Corinthian spirit Michael, just checking in the cellar for that case of Lithuanian Shiraz.

How will you react?...Usually the ref's fault isn't it?

I asked the question a few weeks back, how important will Sunday's derby be in terms of a promotion place. It is now. If we lose we will not get an auto spot. It will be hard to come back from four losses on the bounce including one to the blunts. If we win, and I think we will, then its game on, but only just.

Marshall leaving has torpedoed our auto bid, you can't expect Megson to shoulder the blame for that, he made a decent offer which was rejected by Marshall. Megson has got us to a point beyond many pre-season expectations. It would make us look plain daft if we started to get on his back. The man has got us into contention by demanding solid graft from a group of players that are barely a year in the making as a squad. get on his back if and when he wastes any money that Mandaric finds down the back of his sofa in the summer. Getting restless now would be completely wrong.

My reaction to Sundays' result win, lose or draw, will be to keep calm and stay fully behind the team and Meggo.

Back the team, it is a derby, we will win.

Well said Shibbs.

Ive heard a few fans gettin fed up with Meggy, sayin he aint no good and all the rest of it (those away from this forum), its plain stupid to say that, we have hit a dip in form, that is all, look at the blunts earlier in the season, they looked like they would nose dive, but look at them now, they kept their head down and prior to this Sunday, they have looked every bit a promotion side (spit spit), all we need is a good result this sunday and the confidence will flow again!

What we have to do is really get in their faces and show them who are the daddies in Sheffield, play at a high tempo and maintain this throughout the game and for the rest of the season!!!

COME ON WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!

WEDNESDAY TILL I DIE!!!!!!!!!

How will we react??? You'll find out Sunday after final whistle we have basically sold out the biggest ground outside the Premiership for a div 3 fixture.

I think I'll hear any reaction from my living room in Cumbria. Wish I could get there.

Oh and I'd give up on promotion for a sizeable result on Sunday. (So thats put the Kaibosh on both)

Something that we must take into account is that this is the first week in ages where the team has had a real breather......no mid-week match and an extra day's rest........could prove to be a decisive factor!!!
