One Eye on What

Madrush, So Hill fielded a weakened team against Birmingham with one eye on the Coventry game.

More stats.

Shots on Target - Coventry - 19 Barnsley - 3
Corners - Coventry - 6 Barnsley - 0

Just as well then.

Just can't see the point of this negative approach to away matches. Both Davey and Robins were boggers for it and now Hill seems to have caught the disease.

A 3-2 defeat is pretty much the same as a 1-0 defeat...and if we don't attack we're not likely to win many....But what really worries me is the shift towards hoofball, this will drive away even the die-hards

I must admit I do try to see positives when assessing us but yesterday was shocking players out of position
4 1 4 1 for sum reason no attacking intent at all we set up for a point against a team that were very poor even with us giving them the ball all game with misplaced passes a long ball from defence they didn't have a clue just don't understand why we didn't attack them they were fragile and a atrackimg side would have won comfortably yesterday was very poor worst I've seem in a long time! Hopefully we will go out to attack against forest

Very little evidence of this 'brand of football' I keep hearing about. We are turning into a long ball side, devoid of creativity. Coventry are a poor side and they made us look even worse. 45 minutes against derby is not enough

Very balanced Brighton except for the midfield comments. Yes, we lost our entire midfield and yes, the new boys need time to bond, but the worrying factor for me is that in recent games we have been playing direct and totally bypassing the midfield! I've been one of Hillcroft's biggest advocates, but on recent displays even I am running out of excuses...

Don't disagree with most of that Brighton. But the midfield debate becomes irrelevant, when edwards launches every ball 30 yards over the midfield for 90 minutes, and McNulty just launches it to anyone playing for the other team. Time will tell and I'm a patient man. But this is becoming worryingly too frequent at the mo...

Give it a rest Cooling. Your track record is 5 or 6 games without a win and then it's sack everyone and their dogs and cats.

I will admit that I laughed at Brighton asking a few of the boo boys to look at the big picture.

Give me evidence of any of what you've just said. Failing that, zip it Coco
