Tired of all the complaining today!!

Right i've had it up to here at work today with people moaning and complaining about Irelands lacklustre performance last night.

I wouldn't mind but some of these people didn't even follow the Football team a few years but now they're all suddenly interested because we've qualified for the Euro Finals!!

Apparently Eamon Dunphy as well has been ripping into the performance. Sounds like he's warming himself up for the Euro Finals.

Ok, yes we allowed the Czechs have way too much of the ball.

The defending for the Czechs goal by messrs O'Shea etc was comical . You would see better defending at an Under 12 match.

Trapatonni left it too late to send on Mc Clean and he never gave Mc Carthy a run out.

But you know what, isn't this what we expect from Trapatonni at this stage!!!

People forget that one of his subs (Simon Cox) scored the equaliser.

AND it was only a friendly and we didn't lose thus preserving our current unbeaten run .

Trapatonni already knows which players he is taking to the Euro Finals and he is not going to start experimenting at this stage.

Ahhh Godfather de Mungo is back i see, has Strabane regained its 56k internet connection?? Quite ironic you should be noticing Steve Davis' chin when he is singing GSTQ , i thought you would have been watching your adopted ROI team , seems im wrong , oh the irony. not the brightest spark ,are you?

I bet your a great catch yourself at the local barn-dances up that hellhole that people call Strabane. Whats the latest fashion up there, dungarees?

Now now alexia. I watched the Ireland game, my country btw not my adopted country, and after the anthems it went to a break. Switched over to the Wales game then to the NI game and Steve Davis chin was staring back at me whilst about 3 out of 11 players mumbled GSTQ. 2 of them were English btw. Hardly the most inspiring anthem but as long as it keeps Jim Allistar hot blooded for Lizzie then all is well forget about those players from the nationalist community. You then have the chhek to complain about McClean and co?

And whats your problem with Strabane? your painting it as some backward hole like Ballysally in Coleraine? or the Shankill? instead of painting it like every other town in NI, booming with unemployment. But ah well, as long as NI is apart of the UK who cares about jobs eh? as long as Peter can gloat about being ruled by English people then all is well eh? As long as bitter Gregory can keep saying London infront of Derry as manytimes as possible in the one sentence all is well eh?

This was the point i actually fell off my seat laughing. Ballysally looks like Bel Air compared to Strabane Mungo. Place is a dour backwards dump. No offence of course honeybunny , not your fault of course.

As for the old "i was just flicking channels" chestnut , that doesnt wash with me , i do hope you stood up when it was on!

Listen Mungo , i came on and asked a serious question about McClean and you laid into me and NI. Ask Robbie or the others (or even check yourself) , i have always wished the lad well and respected that it was his choice. When have i ever complained?

As for the plop spouted about the politicians , i dont care , i dont follow politics in any shape or form. They are all useless.

Boys in Green

Just pointing out that the Eire anthem is hardly all inclusive after GSTQ was ridiculed on the thread.

NI fans were slated for wearing Gers tops............while ROI wore Celtic tops at games at the same time.

Have to have a level playing field.

You must not have been to Strabane if you think its worse than Ballysally. At least we dont sound like dour queen lovers like those Ballysally folk.

As for my net connection? Fibre Optic.

As for my other comments, I wasnt taking a dig at you personally, just the attitude of NI fans in general. 'Another young nationalist player switches to the republic, ah well as long as we can get three of our players mumbling GSTQ before the match all is well'. That is the view of alot of NI fans. They would rather have there english flags and anthem than have the likes of McClean and Gibson play for them.

Considering i was the only NI fan commenting on the thread , its fair to say it was aimed at me.

Welcome to the fibre optic world which must be the new BT Infinity. Congrats.

Havent been to Strabane in the last 3 years , it mustve been cleaned up in that short space of time. if so , apologies

Oh so political............why?

The beautiful game does not need an Irish nationalist analysis.
