Showing Scotland v Brazil at France 1998, I was sozzled by the half-time when the game was live first time around, watching it now and I can't believe how well we played against the Samba Boys!
They had some big names in that line-up too... Leonardo, Bebeto, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo (the proper one), Rivaldo and even Tom Boyd!!!
But one day, we'll get our chance again....

Keny, compared to other Lightning Seeds songs it may have been a belter, but compared to actual music, well... I'm not even sure it qualifies.

I was 11 years old for that game. I remembering that when John Collins was about to take his penalty I was grabbing a cushion so hard that i tore it.
It was my birthday the same day as the final that year, magic.

I was comotosed in Strathclyde Uni's Barony Bar that day. Though I have a vague recollection of unleashing a foul mouthed tirade against Tom Boyd...
The rest is a blur...
