I was working for the first half, so not sozzled at all. I remember that Scotland put up a great fight and were unlucky to lose.
Also, how good was Scotland's World Cup song that year?
was that the Del Amitri one? because the answer was not very!!!
Yes! I loved it, even though it was on the radio all the time.
well, i suppose it was a million times better than any of the guff i had to put up with over the boarder!!! I think that was the year of Vindaloo!!!
dont come home too soon or something?
terrible song, kills me to say it but the frank skinner one three lions is a belter.
Keny, compared to other Lightning Seeds songs it may have been a belter, but compared to actual music, well... I'm not even sure it qualifies.

I was 11 years old for that game. I remembering that when John Collins was about to take his penalty I was grabbing a cushion so hard that i tore it.
It was my birthday the same day as the final that year, magic.

I was lying across a pool table in ol' Amsterdam peering through my slits.i remember it was 'foggy'.
I was comotosed in Strathclyde Uni's Barony Bar that day. Though I have a vague recollection of unleashing a foul mouthed tirade against Tom Boyd...
The rest is a blur...
How long huv ye been a jannie Maryhill?
