Rangers were the first club to win 50 domestic league titles in the world...they didnt copy anyone else in that acheivement and did something immeadiately after the feat to celebrate it
How many did you cheat to win?!
Will you be removing the fifth star when your club gets dragged out into the open as a club full of cheats, liars and tax dodgers?

We copied the kind of system used in leagues all around europe to celebrate domestic league title wins, and chose to do that to commemorate an event that no other club had achieved....its pretty simple
Here's my wee wiki page again that you dont believe

If Rangers were a national side and not a club team and Brazil atually played in a league every season I'd maybe see why you even brought them up

"Why wait till 50?"
Because no system was in place in scotland, it wasnt really common practice in other leagues at the time we won our 40th title which was back in 1990, and we were the first club to win 50 EVER, so decided to do something, its hardly rocket science chaps
What we didnt do was something totally out of the blue out of pettyness 36 years after an event

Opening lines to your link:
"In association football, some national and club sides include one or more stars as part of (or beside) the badge (often referred to as a "crest" appearing on their shirt, to represent important trophies the team has previously won. Sometimes this is a unilateral decision by the team concerned rather than a privilege earned and sanctioned by any governing body. Wearing the star has also been adopted by various teams of other sports."

it's irrelevant when the star was put on the jersey, what is important is what the star represents. Winning the European cup is much harder than winning ten Scottish league titles, hence why only one Scottish team has achieved that feat and another has run themselves into the ground trying to match that achievement.
