How hard will it be...

for us to get back to where we were (or near enough) and at least start challenging on all fronts again?

Because of our lack of activity last summer we now have 8 or 9 players that need to be replace sharpish.

Despite some of you lot undermining the FFP rules, give it the benefit of the doubt and understand we cant just go out and buy a new team. (last 2-3 seasons was our opportunity and the likes of City and Real took it buying young yet quality and established players while we never).

I used to moan alot on the old 606 that we needed to spend on some young established talent, but others said Roman has tightend the purse strings, the he goes and wastes 50 million.

Some were also overrating our youth players despite them not even playing competitive football and who up to this day are nowhere to be seen.

Staying at the Bridge while Spurs are developing a new stadium with Liverpool planning too aswell will not be good for us at all. We need to be PRO ACTIVE

We also impatient owner who doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes e.g.
Sacking Jose, then Sacking Carlo
Spending 30mil on Sheva, then spending 50mil on Torres
Changing style from a well oiled winning machine to a vulnerable lackluster team who try to play nice football yet still fail.

But to be fair on Roman, he has a very very very very bad board/advisors under him. Its like if I took over an Indian Cricket League team, I would expect my advisors to know the game inside out in order for me to make the right choices. Especially if one of those is a fan of the club.

So IMO I think we are in for a tough couple of years without any knowledge whether we will rise or fall further. We basically need to rely on the decline of other clubs just like they have done to us and Liverpool while also getting our own house in order.

Discuss.

it's not easy to stay top 4 whilst blooding those youngsters though

Fabio Borini has just made his international debut for Italy. I was begging for him to get a chance when he was at Chelsea but it fell on deaf ears.

I think of all the kids we've let go, Borini's the one I'm most dissapointed we didn't give a chance to.

I´m convinced we´re going to regret selling Borini, he´s really talented and when I used to watch the Chelsea reserves at Griffin Park it was always Borini and Sturridge who both stood out from the rest.

Instead of using future stars like Borini we´d rather waste 50 million on Torres who let´s be honest none of us wanted in the first place.

For one we have to stop sacking managers

Sinclair, Stoch and Borini all wanted to leave, we did not look to sell them

The way we didn't give enough chances to Stoch and Borini in the first team was ridiculous and made them want to leave Chelsea.
