Roy Keane for manager?

If there's ever been a person who doesn't stand for prima donnas, its Roy Keane.

Could Keane come in and sort them out? Could free prawn sandwiches be the answer to get the players and fans on his side?

Prawn sandwiches are disgusting with mayonase.

People leave good jobs all the time.

More money, a new challange, fresh start, hating your current job/colleagues are all common reasons

If what Keane did was so right becuse the conditions were as he described why didn't more walk?

I don't know, maybe they were happy with a set-up that didn't get the best out of the squad. Maybe they were content just to make an appearance at the World Cup.

Keane was used to a totally professioanl set-up at Manchester United. He played to win, not just to 'turn-up.'

That's what he believed in, and it's not a prima-donna character. Towards the end of his career he publicly criticised United players he felt were becoming prima-donnas.

I'm not calling any of them prima-donnas. The world isn't split into prima-donnas and non prima-donnas

I agree there were factors in Keanes personality that caused him to leave. But in no way was it a case of him being a prima-donna.

deepspace how wrong can you be?

Roy keane walked out on his country, rowed with Alex Ferguson and got bombed out. And went out intentionally to break someones leg.
He use to think he could do what he wanted and get away with it.

"I like to give myself a challenge and this is a big one," said Mourinho. "I have a lot of confidence in myself and my ability as a coach."

But Mourinho explained that he felt the lure of coaching Real was too strong to resist.

"I don't know if I was born to coach Real Madrid but I was born to be a football coach," he added.

"I am Jose Mourinho and I don't change. I arrive with all my qualities and my defects.

"My attraction to Real Madrid is due to its history, its frustrations in recent years and its expectations to win.

"It's a unique club and I believe that not to coach Real leaves a void in a coach's career.

"Luckily, I've had a beautiful career and it makes me proud to have come here."

"I think four years of contract is enough to win, to build a strong team for the present and the future."

Theres more quotes there but I reckon mourinho is like ronaldo dreamed of being manager of real madrid with an 85,000 capacity stadium and playing in the famous white shirt and one of the most successful clubs, the prestige for portugese people lures them to dream going there.

Mourinho will probably go back to chelsea 2014 at the earliest if he ever was to go back after his contract finishes. Who knows chelsea may have a new team then.
