i'm watching the dutch version of MOTD right now and Vertonghen is their guest player of the week. The pundits were talking about arsenal vs milan and vertonghen had a sneaky smile on his face!
The pundits then asked him if he had signed/is going to sign for arsenal... he said no but he did say that if we are indeed interested in him and if we bid for him in the summer, he would gladly join us!
would you guys like to see him at the emirates? he looks a lot better than djourou in any case!

that's just them guessing though I think, hope he is out of contract otherwise nobody will take him off our hands.

i dont think we'll sign him. djourou signed a new contract, bartley can return, that gives us 5 centre backs as it is. As long as Squallaci goes!!!
Our money would be better spent on the attacking side of the game!
