sadly berba's leaving at the end of the season, and who can blame him, he's been a good player for the club, started of slowly but then came alive and was joint top scorer last seaon. gonna miss him and he style of play, frustrating and brilliant! who do u think realistically fergie will replace berba with? will he buy someone or is there someone in the reserve who could step up? i dont see macheda making the grade and injury prone owen needs to go

I'm beginning to think that the ideal replacement would actually be a versatile AMF...
We have plenty of strikers in Welbeck, Chico, Owen and Macheda (plus Will Keane) and we have a top quality #10 in Wayne Rooney.
A Silva/Mata type would compliement what he have....
More competition for the left wing, a tactical option for when we go 4-5-1 and back up for when Rooney gets injured... Depending on the player... He could also play in a 4-4-2 in easier games.
I don't know much about this Hazard fella, but he seems to tick the right boxes.

he's got an ego the size of the north stand and it's well known that ferguson doesn't like it. aside from the fact that he has more nights out than freddie flintoff did you see him against palace in the league cup this season? throwing his arms around at a team mate's miss palced pass, barely running and a general "i'm too good for this shi.t" attitude. danny simpson was apparently similar when he first broke into the team and that was the main reason why ferguson shipped him out.
