His bowling was never up to test standards even when he was fit.
The poor guy has been injury prone for a while so it's not a great surprise. Having now to concentrate on his batting might turn him into a real top notcher.
I thought he was a good 5th bowling option,1 who balanced out the side well, similar to watson for australia. Plus he still had quite a few years to develop.
He was a very average bowler and is a selfish batsman when he bats with the tail.
Feel sorry for him that injury has hampered him, but he didn't look like he'll make it at test level even when fully fit.
Good limited overs player though and may be a future ODI Captain.
