A Troll is someone who comes onto a thread for the sole purpose of disrupting discussion and to irritate other posters. Today Neon you are such a person. You don't give a dam for SL so don't pretend you do.

Difference with you Neon is that you live in England, and yet seem to enjoy Englands failures so much.

Don't you think it's funny how EVERYONE thinks Neon is a twit

England bowled 61 overs before tea yet they are now in overtime.

Lankas day this, after losing 3wickets so early, they'd have taken this.... Monty has done his bit to ensure that. Good fightback, but you wouldn't expect that Lankan bowling line up to knock the English over under 400

Afridi, yes, that is why I think Eng should not worry that much!

You would expect the likes of Bell and KP to get themselves out however.

To be frank when Samaraweera went back, I thout we are done for. I consider him as our anchor in tests...

What should have been England's day ends up a SL day. WE could be facing 320+ before they finish. Monty will wonder where to put himself in the dressing room. pity up til those dropped catches his ground fielding had been excellent.

england's day IMO.

On this pitch with England batting 4th this can hardly be counted England's day.

Hopefur, how did you become so certain that England will bowl last in this pitch?
Its such a batting wicket and England can continue their inning-victory procession here also.
If England scores 500 plus which is quite possible in such dead track over 2nd and 3rd day which is considered the most favourable time to bat, then it will be Lanka batting last with inning deficit.

I think you mean bat last chopping. As for England scoring 500, I suspect that would be a record score for England in SL.

guys lets not carried away. its no ones day. it would be clear where sl are placed after england bat. though i have to say an excellent knock by mahela. swann again underperforming. tut tut tut

When you win the toss and bat, your aim is to bat the opposition out of the game. 290 odd - 8 is a million miles from batting england out of the game. for this reason is you had offered england 290-8 after the toss they would have taken it, whereas sri lanka would not. IMO.

maybe so neon, but talking about the day as a whole, IMO it has to go to england.

i would expect broad and anderson to clean them up in the morning, and then we will see what our batsmen have got. as an england fan i would have to back them and expect a couple to score hundreds and a 400+ total.

JPB you are clearly one of England's optimistic supporters. Where England are concerned experience over many years has made me "a glass half empty fan.'

340 will give the Sri-Lankin bowlers something to bowl at......very evenly poised match after England had it early on....

Batting last England will need 400....to break even.

Indeed it is a shame Malinga is out......

England will only toil here in Srilanka.Subcontinent is a nightmare for them and after the end of this series, there will be no doubt in cricket experts' minds that SouthAfrica is the best team considering all match conditions.
