Swann bowls his best when there's some bounce in the wicket.

I suspect Broad is one of those individuals that is more affected by high temperatures.
i would have picked bresnan over patel.
not sure about finn, but probably.
hoping that england get these finished off still.
The weird thing is Flower/Strauss pick 6 batsman, the keeper is also a very capable batsman and so is Swann, but still it seems an unfit Broad is picked ahead of Finn, probably because he can score runs down the order.
Maybe it's time to give Trott a go, somtimes these medium pacers get more out of slow wickets.
Bell used to bowl (and claim fake caught and bowled ) didn't he?
trott's not a bad shout.
truth - there's no issue with broad selection is there ? we just needed another seem option.
JT what on earth are you on about.

Good figures from Monty but has he tried to spin the ball today or tossed it up?
Hopey here you go:

Class batsman though, glad he's got another chance. Hope he silences the doubters.
Monty doesn't turn the ball as much as Swann.
Taking the ball with two tired seamers could see the scoring accelerate.
JT what was wrong with that catch, it looked clean to me and the umpires.
Mahela is a real game changer
I bet Jimmy will be beating himself up about his dropped catch

It looked clean initially, but on one camera angle, it looked dodgy, when he seemed to let it go at around 0:36 of the clip.
Anyway, my point was, why doesn't Bell bowl anymore? He was actually quite a handy option.
We really need a wicket here...

Herath is doing a fantastic job here
Neon, I thought you were born in the UK to India parents, why are you cheering on SL? But you cheered England v Pakistan.
You change allegiance more times than the Italians in the second world war....
