all football fans are ridiculous, regardless of who they support.

It's been the case on this board and outside of this site for the past 20 years now.

I think Roy Keane once made a comment about it.

People are entitled to change their opinion as long as they admit they were wrong eg

I wanted Evans nowhere near the first team at the start of the season but I recently said he was our player of the season which I stand by as his form has been excellent.

Luckily the players mentioned wont ever have heard the criticism as none of the rags on this board have the faintest idea where the swamp is
Just sayin .

I'd start by pressing the edit button and correcting the spelling of ridiculous. I'm the worst speller out there but just looks funny when it is headlined so to speak

Anyways, there are fans that do not know the difference between form and ability. Of that, there is no question about it

get in there Paul.

"rags" "swamp" love it, just love it.

I've seen a picture of it, does that count?

some fans seem to need a pantomime villain. Ridiculous, considering that we have won so many trophies with, not just top class player, but decent squad players, who give their all for the UTD shirt.

Did anyone know that when City was called Gorton FC or whatever was founded outside of Manchester, and they had to ask permission of their more classy neighbours to stay in Manchester? Bit of context there for anyone interested

I'd also add the words "Some of" to the beginning of the title.

I agree with Diggler, if you have the gonads to admit you were wrong, then I don't see the problem. Take a look at the below article yesterday when an Arsenal fan made me look silly

I wrote an article about Evans during the City game at OT, but will happily admit I was wrong. I'm not one to usually adbuse players, but in this case, I was obviously very angry.

city had to ask united's permission to move in to manchester when they moved from west gorton (then in lancashire) to ardwick, that is correct. we should really have said no looking back.

BB how could you doubt the Irish? He's got the old Irish luck with him now, Evans is top class.

And they have the cheek to tell us we're not from Manchester? We're the older club and we're the first club established in the great city, you don't get more Mancunian than United.

my spelling isn't great, i know that.

almost put this on the article but i felt strangely confident with the spelling on this one

Mmmmmm..... I more often than not watch football from my armchair and yet I do have an understanding of sport and I always support United players; Evans, Berbatov, Carrick, Gibson, Bebe; they will always have my support until such time as Sir Alex decides to move them on, as I know he knows best, certainly much better than your average fan.

So it's got nowt to do with armchairs and everything to do with ignorant idiots!
